when she got to become a part of the already successful
show on Colors, Balika Vadhu (Sphere Origins) has finally
managed to win loyalty of viewers, and has gone on to be
known as Anandi'.
In a recent visit that Toral made to Delhi, she got a real proof
of her fan-following and acceptance from the public. "I think
the audiences have finally accepted me to a certain extent.
When I went to address a crowd recently in Delhi, I wasn't
sure what the response would be. Let me tell you, it was a
tremendous feeling. For a second, I was apprehensive of
getting to the stage. But I was amazed to see the reactions of
people. In simple words, they love Anandi so much that I
don't think it matters as to who plays it," averred the lady.
Even after 11 months of playing Anandi, Toral finds the
character tough to play. "I have completed 11 months as
Anandi and will complete a year on 2 March 2014, but it
hasn't been easy for me. She has a very different journey and
now it's motherhood for her."
In fact, the distance from her sets to home too is a challenge
in its own way. "I stay at Matunga and I shoot at Naigaon
which means I undertake three hours of travelling and twelve
hours of work. It's getting tougher day-by-day, and shooting
now with the new kid takes longer time."
How does your family cope up with your working hours?
"Touchwood both my families are very understanding and they
respect my profession. So they usually wait for me to get back
home."
What about spending some quality time with hubby dear? "On
New Year's we got two days off from shoot and had gone to
Vada, Thane. I would also be attending a family wedding in a
couple of days for which I have got two to three days off. So
we do get some time together."
So is there anything that troubles her at times? "Yes, the
work timing does irritate me at times as I just can't get out of
the sets. Also because our set is in Naigoan, even if I want to
catch up with my friends I am never able to because I am too
far."
Toral, every coin has a flip side!!!
