Strongly disagree with the original post.

Nobody apart from Sunidhi Chauhan could sing Kamli and make it as special as it is.


In fact I would reverse the sentiment and say I wish Sunidhi sang Shalmali Kholgade's lines in "Balam Pichkari" + "Chingam Chabake" as they are sooo Sunidhi type songs.

It's a shame music directors are not budging from Shreya when it comes to ballads but they don't give as much attention to Sunidhi when it comes to what she does best, the uptempo's.

I wish someone else sang "Ghagra" for the simple fact that Rekha Bhardwaj's voice (although amazing) doesn't suit Madhuri Dixit. They should have gone with Sunidhi again as their combination in Aaja Nachle really worked.

I also find Shilpa Rao is not the most versatile singer. I would like to hear someone else sing "Malang" perhaps my fave. Yes you guessed it. Sunidhi Chauhan.

I think one of the most underrated singers is Shruti Pathak who sang "Mar Jawaan" (Fashion) and "Tujhe Bhula Diya" (Anjaana Anjaani) her tone is so velvety yet sharp and full of depth.

Chikni Chameli by Shreya... Still rings in my ears...
Also Ghagra song was ruined by Rekha...

Would have loved if Sunidhi sang both...
Sunidhi can also sing soft romantic songs... Bhaage re man kahi from Chameli is my all time fav song of Sunidhi...

Shreya an Rekha have their personalities too but some songs are just not meant to be for them...

Like the new comer Shalmali...

In my city, Exotic. Oh wait, those songs shouldn't even have been released.

Tulsi Kumar is pain to my ears.. so so bad..

Sonu Nigam is anything but overrated.. he's minddblowing.. I wish he still sings.. he's amazing.. and every song suits his voice or vice versa..

Aashiyan from barfi by any other good singer..

Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Sonu Nigam should be used more. Also, Shaan has been ignored a lot. Tulsi Kumar 🤢, Shreya Goshal is really good but she is used a lot just like Alka Yagnik was used in 90s and early 2000s. Really liked Antara Mitra's voice in Saree Ke Fall sa, Sona was a standout with Ambarsariya. Also Palak Muchchal for Chahun Main Na Ya and Meri Aashiqui was really good better than Shreya's Sun Raha Hai. Monali Thakur 👏 for Sawaar Loon.

i dont know who but someone else should have changed sun raha hain na tu female singer. the song is so sweet but hurt ears like hell
