Thanks all for your wonderful comments and likes... Good to see each one of your view points on the situation.. ...Hope your views change towards Asad after reading this update !!

Circumstances push us to take decisions and my personal thought is that Each Person is responsible for his own destiny which we choose in the form of the decisions we make in life under circumstances... The decisions which we take will let us know how mature we are or not in handling the situations !!

Dilshad, Asad and Adya had left hospital and all through the way, Adya kept on asking questions to Asad about how long Zoya had to stay in hospital and when she would speak to her...When they got down from the car, they saw a lady waiting in the lawn ...As soon as the lady heard the sound of the gate, she turned around...

Asad : Tanveer ?? !!

Hearing Tanveer's name shocked Dilshad .. She immediately took Adya from Asad's hand and walked towards the door...Asad smiled at Tanveer and guided her towards the house... As they walked in, Asad's thoughts drifted back to the past ...

6 Yrs Back, US

Asad was very excited when he first landed in New York... He had heard so much about the city.. It was his dream to do his MS here ... It was his first step towards it... !! One of his friends , Rahul who had reached the city few days earlier had rented an apartment so that they could share... As Asad took a cab to reach the apartment, he admired the beauty of the city... How he wished Zoya was with him... !!

Rahul and Asad had been buddies since their engineering days and it was easy for both of them to get along with each other... Rahul had been sweet enough to take up all the cooking responsibilities since Asad was not so good at cooking... He would in turn help Rahul in cleaning the apartment and the vessels after their food...

First Day @ the University...

After studying all these years in home country, most of the students were nervous... Rahul looked around the class room to find all new faces when his eyes caught hold of Tanveer, another classmate of theirs from engineering college days...

Rahul : Asad.. wahan dekho Tanveer bhi yahi hain... !! and he shouted at Tanveer ...

Tanveer: Hey.. Hi Asad .. Hi Rahul and she hugged Asad... I am so happy aap dono bhi yaha ho.. ab muje koi pareshani nahin hain... !!

Rahul, Asad, Tanveer, Rahil and Pooja had become a group since they were all from same city... They would hang around together during weekends ...

Rahul and Asad stayed together in a rented apartment while Tanveer stayed alone in any apartment which belonged to her uncle.. Rahil stayed in a shared apartment with some other students while Puja also shared an apartment with some other students from the same university..

Around completion of 3 months...

A small party was arranged in Tanveer's apartment since it was her birthday... All the Four friends had gathered and had decided that they would have a blast since their first round of assessments had just got over and they had the weekend to enjoy ...Pooja and Tanveer had become close buddies and Pooja would quite often stay back with Tanveer in her apartment...

Pooja : Well friends.. Tanveer kuch confess karna chathi hain... !!

Tanveer gave an angry look at Pooja and told her not to bring up the topic...

Rahul : Arre.. Tanveer.. humse kya chipa rahi ho.. batao ??

Rahil : Haan yaar bolo na... kya baat hain...Kisi be dil agaya hain kya ??

Tanveer started blushing and looked at Asad.. She walked to him.. who was lost in his own thoughts and looking out of the window .. Though he used to enjoy the parties initially, he had started missing Zoya very badly... He would occupy his free time always in studing but somehow he was missing Zoya a lot on that day...

Tanveer : Asad.. !!

Asad turned around and looked at her and then at all his friends who were looking at them with eyes wide open...

Asad : Kya hua Tanveer.. I am sorry .. Mera dhyan idhar nahin tha... !!

Tanveer : I love you Asad.. !! and she hugged him..

Asad : What nonsense Tanveer ? and he immediately pushed her lightly freeing himself from her..

Tanveer: Aise kyun keh rahe ho Asad... ?? Mein tumse pichle paanch saal se pyaar kar rahin hoon... Warna kyun hamesha tumhare saath ghomti thi.. ?Muje patha tha ki tum MS karnekliye yaha zaroor aoge.. sirf tumhareliye mein bhi yahan ayi hoon.. !!

Asad : Tanveer.. dekho.. Tum galat samaj rahi ho.. Tum sirf meri dost ho.. !!

Tanveer : Asad.. Tum hamesha kehte the na.. ki tum ek architect se hi nikaah karoge... !! Manliya ki tum ab tak mujse pyar nahin karte ho.. lekin ab to muje qubool karsakte ho ... Muj mein kya kaami hain ??

Asad : Tanveer.. Tum shayad janti nahin ho.. Mera nikaah hogaya hain.. aur mein apne biwi se bahut mohobat kartha hoon... !!

Only Rahul knew in the group that Asad was married since he was a very close buddy... He was equally surprised with Tanveer's confession...

Rahul : Tanveer.. ye sab tumhari galatfemi hain... Asad Zoya se bahut pyar kartha hain... !!

Tanveer: Tum aise nahin kar sakte ho Asad.. .. Tum sirf mere ho... !! and she held Asad's shirt...

Asad immediately shrugged off her hand... and gave a disgusted look at her and walked away... While Rahul tagged him...

Rahil and Pooja tried consoling Tanveer and finally Pooja had stayed back with Tanveer...to take care of her..

Next Morning, Tanveer's Apartment...

Pooja woke up with a slight head ache... She turn around to check if Tanveer was still sleeping.. and found her to be missing.. She panicked and ran out to the drawing room only to find Tanveer lying on the floor with a pool of blood around her wrist... She had slit it open... and looked like it was done just few minutes back... She gave a first aid treatment immediately...

Pooja called up Tanveer's uncle Dr. Ejaz to handle the situation.. Crime in US was a serious issue.. Suicide was also one of them... Since Ejaz did not want Tanveer to get into any police matters, he had treated her at home and luckily the bleeding had stopped since they had attended to her immediately..

Dr. Ejaz : Tanveer beta.. ye sab kya hain.. Agar tumhe kuch ho jata to mein tumhare abbu ko kya jawab de saktha tha ??

Tanveer : Sorry Chachajaan... !!

Rahul , Asad and Rahil had got the news from Pooja only after 2 days and they had dropped in to meet Tanveer...but Dr. Ejaz stopped Asad from meeting her since he wanted to talk to him first...

He took Asad to a room and told him to sit on the chair and he himself sat on the opposite chair with a table between them...

Dr. Ejaz was a famous doctor in US and he had got green card as well. He did not have any children of his own and so he considered Tanveer (only child of her parents) as his own... He could not think of anything or anybody harming her...Though he was a doctor, he had lot of contacts not only in US but also in India due to his popularity...

Dr. Ejaz to Asad : Toh tum ho Asad.. !!

Asad : Ji... !!

Dr. Ejaz : Dekho Asad.. Mein bas itna samaj gaya ki Tanveer tumse beintiha pyar karti hain... Wo acchi ladki hain.. To tum usse pyar kyun nahin karsakte ho... ??

Asad : Dekhiye uncle.. Mein Tanveer se pyar nahin karsakta hoon... kyunki mera nikaah ho chuka hain... !!

Dr. Ejaz : To apni biwi ko divorce de do.. !!

Asad got really angry hearing this but he knew that he had to be calm.. : Kya aap hosh mein hain... ?? Tanveer sirf meri dost hain.. Muje afsos hain ki usne jo bhi kiya ... Mein nahin chatha ki Tanveer ke saath kuch bura ho...!! Lekin mein Tanveer se kabhi pyar nahin kar saktha hoon...!! Mein apne biwi ko kabhi dhoka nahin de sakta hoon..

Dr.Ejaz : Asad.. Ye meri dhamki samjo ya request... Tum Tanveer se kaho ki tum apne biwi se talaaq leke Tanveer se nikaah karoge... Jab Tanveer todha sambhalthi hain.. tab mein usse kudh samjaoonga.. Lekin ab tum Tanveer se aisa kuch bhi nahi kahoge jisse wo toot sakti hain... aur tum soch bhi nahin saktein ho.. ki agar tum meri baat nahin manoge toh mein kya kar satkha hoon...

Asad : aap mere saath jo karna hain wo kijiye.. Mein in sab dhamki se darnewala nahin hoon... !!

A smile spread across Ejaz's face now.. He threw a cover on the table and pushed it across to reach Asad...

The snaps were of Zoya in her college and also outside Khan Villa along with Rashid and Dilshad...

Asad looked angrily at Ejaz...

Asad : Kya matlab hain apka... ??

Dr. Ejaz : Good.. Muje bhi bura lag raha hain... ye sab karne se... Lekin Tanveer mere bhai ki lauti aulad hain.. aur mere bhi koi bachein nahin hain... Is waqt mera priority Tanveer hain.. Agar tum ye sab nahin karoge.. to tumhe apne biwi ko khona padega... Mera sirf ek phone call kafi hoga...

Asad : Aap itne bade doctor hain.. aur itni ghiri hui harqat... ??

Dr. Ejaz passed another set of papers at him... It was divorce papers of Asad and Zoya.. Asad could not believe that Ejaz had got all this done.. but he did not know what to do.. He felt trapped in the situation... The only way to save Zoya was to sign those papers... !!

Asad found it really difficult but he signed those papers along with a small note... and handed it back to Dr. Ejaz...

Dr. Ejaz : Mein abhi ise courier karva deta hoon !!

Tears formed in his eyes and he stood up and walked towards the window and banged the wall... Hurting his own hand which had started bleeding...

Dr. Ejaz : aur haan Asad.. Tum apne biwi ko ye sab batane ki koshish nahin karoge jab tak mein na kahoon... Mere admi hamesha Zoya ke aas paas hi rahenge.. !!

Dr. Ejaz's thoughts... : "Kuch din royega.. baad mein Tanveer ko apna lega... Mein apni bacchi ki kushi keliye kuch bhi karsaktha hoon.. kuch bhi !!"

Though Dr. Ejaz had sent out those papers and letter,Asad expected Zoya to somehow understand him and not to take any hasty decision.. !!

Asad had become very dull after this .. He was scared for Zoya and his parents and could not risk their safety but what broke him further was when he received Zoya's courier... It was the papers which she had signed and returned...along with a letter...

Asad,

Meine divorce papers sign karli hain.. Ab aap Aazad hain.. Apni nayi Zindagi Mubarak !! Hope you achieve your dreams with your ideal partner.. !!

Asad could not digest that Zoya had so easily accepted it... He was heart broken... He had gone into a depression for nearly a month and Rahul had to take care of him... Rahul did advise Asad to speak to Zoya about all this and clear their misunderstandings but Asad was adamant and he had requested Rahul also not to tell anything to either his parents or Zoya...

As days passed by, though Asad attended his classes regularly , he had become very aloof.. He hardly spoke with anybody ... Looking at his condition, Tanveer had realized her mistake .. i.e she could never force Asad to love her and she had opted to stay away from him.. She initially did not know about Dr. Ejaz's deal with Asad but when she got to know about it which was after another 3 or 4months, she had felt ashamed of herself... She had shouted back at her uncle and had asked him to tell sorry to Asad...

Ejaz had promised in front of Tanveer and Asad that he would never cause any problem to Zoya... After Ejaz and Tanveer had apologized , Asad did try speaking to his parents and Zoya over phone a couple of times but they had not given him an opportunity to speak.. They had kept the phone down hearing his voice... He was angry and upset not only with her but also with his parents.. and so he had given up and stopped calling them ... He hoped they would either send a letter or ring up to him but he neither received any letter nor did they call up to him.. making him feel more sad and lonely..

At the end of 2 Yrs, though all his friends returned back, Asad did not feel like going back.. He knew how possessive Gaffur was about his daughter and he assumed Gaffur would have definitely got Zoya married off to somebody else by now which was very painful for him to even think of ... He could definitely not be able to see her with anybody else so he decided not to interfere in her life... and stay back in US !! which he felt was good not only for her but also for himself...

Few days back, he had suddenly decided to come and meet his parents when he had seen one of his colleague's loose both his parents in a scary accident... It was not allowing him to sleep properly and had continuously haunted him.. After 6 long years,he had called up Rashid informing him that he was visiting them for a couple of days...!!

End of Flash Back

Those of you who were angry hope you now understand the circumstances he was in and why he he had to sign the divorce papers.. .. So please do give your comments on what to do you think about him now 😊 !!!
