Although I agree with your sentiment, I think in terms of character it makes sense. He hates woman and sees her as terrorist. When Aman told him that she seems to be in shock, he waved it off by saying she is doing nautanki. He has also gone overboard with force, something his senior calls him out on constantly. In terms of character growth, I guess when he falls in love with her, I would like to see him respecting her, and you know being sweet to her.

I also hate any manhandling in any love story and i really feel bad for Paro, but in this case, it made totally sense. If he can put him self and the people he works with in danger of death the way he did, Imagine how he will behave to a suspected terrorist.
