Balika Vadhu has always believed in creating history and
they did it yet again by begging the Best Daily Soap award
at the prestigious Star Guild Awards 2014.
Balika Vadhu has been on the top since a long time and
this time it takes its following to another level by getting
the Guild award. Balika Vadhu Kachi Umar Ke Pakke
Rishte is known for its excellent cast, story line and out of
the box approach.
Set in rural Rajasthan,a district called Jaitsar, Balika
Vadhu follows the story of Anandi, a child bride and
Jagdish,a doctor by profession, who married Anandi at
young age. Anandi had to bear the hardships of a child
bride,and goes on to become the village Sarpanch.Later
on, while becoming young adults, both of them divorces
and Anandi is married to Shivraj Shekhar,a Deputy
Collector with his family in Udaipur whereas Jagdish
marries Ganga, another child bride. The story now follows
their journey full of twist and turns, and ups and downs.
Despite the continuous change in the lead roles the show
has managed to put a bench mark for all the other daily
shops and there have been none who could actually even
match up to its level. Avika Gor played the role Anandi's
childhood while Toral Rasputra carries it forward now.
Siddharth Shukla plays the role of Shiv and Shahshank
Vyas is the famous Jagiya.
The show also has some very talented and experienced
stars like Surekha Sikri , Anoop Soni and Smita Bansal .
