It is not a hat-trick thanks to Fanaa, but director Kunal Kohli and Rani Mukerji are set to work together for the third time (after Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Hum Tum).

Rani has been signed to play the lead in his debut production opposite Saif Ali Khan.

Says a source, "Once Kunal signed Saif, he was very keen to have Rani in the film.

He wants to repeat the magic of Hum Tum."

When contacted, Kunal refused to talk about the story and the characters, but confirmed Rani's inclusion.

"Yes, it's true," he said.

Yash Raj Films will present Kunal's new film and shooting is expected to commence soon.
