They keep mentioning groom comes from across the border each year. Today it was clarified that they also come from another country and wanted to dishonor Indian flag before leaving. Though the name of the country is not mentioned but per geographical boundaries, it seems that they come from Pakistan. Now I can not understand the story line
1. How do they bring Rajput groom from Pakistan ?
2. why do villagers agree to marry their daughters to someone in Pakistan who they never hear back or visit after marriage ?
3. What are people from another country going to do with Indian currency ? (I could understand if payment was made in dollars)
4. Why was security force was so minimum at the border check out ? (India border check out is very heavily secured. It does not depend on 2 guards )

I don't think they meant from another country. Most probably another province or another big city. Did they specifically mention another 'country' anywhere in the episodes?

Well its a TV show. So its essentially fiction. There is nothing real here. Its just a story. They DO NOT mention any other country's name except their own. This is not something they want to leave to audience's imagination. Its just a limitation of being a TV show. And since its all make believe they are allowed a lot of liberties. So even though there is border it can still mean that same caste people lives on both side. Just because two different governments are the ruling the land doesn't mean that people change drastically withing few kms. Their 200-300 years old ancestors would have been brothers with no borders.
They have shown birpur ( i wouldn't be surprised if even this is a fictional village) or basically tejawat , still living in denial that there is a central government and that his ruling is of no consequence. Hence he has made the villagers believe that borders are only for the government and BSD and they should not take any heed to it. He is VERY convincing. And just to prove his point he marries of a girl each year to show the solidarity between two sides of border. Its all a facade HE has created to hide his smuggling. Villagers are trustworthy people, and their king is god for them. A girl is considered daughter of entire village and hence they see no harm in strengtening this trust every year with border paar village.
Indian currency and minimum security is just another liberty the makes have taken. But i agree with you that they should have shown more BSD jawans at border. When they went with the warrant full force was there. But when actual battle time came just Five???
Again i had like to say that NO names have been mentioned and its not right for us audience to look for something which obviously is not there. Its just a story. More importantly a love story. Which i hope goes on to become an Epic one. 😊

They kind of did mention. Suraj Singh (Groom's uncle) said that " My shoes have become dirty in your country so I will clean them with your country's flag before leaving." No Indian will ever use an Indian flag to dust and clean. So ya, they indirectly did mention, dont you think so ?

They highlighted year 2013 in the very first episode, so it can not qualify for a myth 😉

Valid points!
But I guess these are all bloopers which the makers thought would be ignored since they do not form the main story of the show..

The violence was a bit too graphic today. Hope they tone it down a bit from now on.

When Rudra came to and got up...it was really odd that so many of the baratis had rifles all around, but they just stood mute. No one fired. No one took him out!

Ya, another confusion to add.. why were they all standing and watching like a zombie for 10 mins until Rudra killed them all one by one. They just waited for their turn to die 😃

if you re-view the scene where the groom's party is crossing the border you will see the flag of the bordering country. I did observe it and made me wonder why he would do so. Moreover the chieftain never reveals the true identity of the groom obvious reasons. the inhabitants have been brain washed therefore they will never doubt his intentions
