I don't think Asin had a small role. I loved asin in that movie she had a lot of screen space. Her character was the life of the film.But the rest you are right about especiallly talaash. Rani/kareena had less screen space but kareena marked her definitely presence in the film. Her role was the best in that movie. She also made her presence felt in 3 idiots. Haven't seen D3 yet so can't comment.

All you mentioned had small but effective roles except Kat. Also, their roles were not as negligible as Kat's. Nor they were in those movies for striptease/skin show only. Kat's role is made fun of rightfully so! She deserved it!

Anushka will have good role even if small. She's definitely not taken for skin show. Hirani said she was the most talented in current gen and hence chosen, when she was casted.

asin, bebo, rani etc all have left an impact on their respective movies they did with aamir...along with aamir, u remember their roles too, even if they were small roles, but they were heavy meaty roles which leaves one remembering they were apart of the story...

but for kat...honestly all she did was dance in d3...she didnt leave any impact...i dont think kat is to be blamed though...it was just a poor character...it had no substance...
