He is the one has shown some reservation on adoption too and cv showing him in the gang of Ira and saanchi ... And he will not let the things go way as it was in the past. If he accepts this all, then why he was upset when shiv and anandi talked about adoption. I think cv has also butchered his character. How a man suddenly feeling the great dada ...

Perhaps Anoop did not want to spoil the party and he has nothing to loss at present. He was not there when the children were growing up, so he knows the grown up Shiv, who is quite close to him. He must have thought that he became from chhote papa to papa even if Shiv will call him chhote papa. He saw the positive side. But he should ask Meenu the reasons when they are alone. Perhaps he also trusts his wife just like Shiv.

Probably he understood his wife's actions and may be he too would have done the same had he been around.

From what they hav shown of him he seemed like an emotional person but at the same time quite practical too.The way he handled the hostage situation in the hospital did tell a lot about him.His insticts at that time tol him to run away but he stayed back and did all that he could to diffuse the situation.

Even now when he got to know that Shiv was his son but when his own son called him CP instead of burying himself in grief for never knowing about his son he chose to revel in the joy over his status as dada.

He seems to be very conservative but a positive person at this this moment

@bold
I think Anup is like Shiv n vice versa

Funny and funny - Dadisa becoming super dadi and bringing down G on wheels. Palace on wheels will also not sell like this.
But I am happy Ganga gives par pota to Dadisa, but what is Jagya s role in future - but not to worry we will see him doing operations - and being at home.

Even I am not able to understand how and why Anup changed .. just a few minutes ago he was against adopting a child with a disability. He was standing next to Ira with a grumpy face.

But the moment he came to know shiv was his son, his world changed... really wierd

I am feeling sad for poor Ira.

Everything related to Anup is confusing. I still don't understand how he regained his memory and even got cured of trauma of so many years of torture so soon?! 😲 How did he integrate into the family, reconciled with past and present so soon?

Now this sudden acceptance of truths related to Shiv is another debate! 😲

I think CVs are handling Anup's character shabbily.

For now the only explanation for his behaviour is the same as already described by others. He's an army man and remained away from home most of his life so he's only too happy to have family back and doesn't lose hair over such issues. He knows his son is there and he was well brought up so he's fine.

It helps Anup because he also has Mahi. He'd feel worse only if he had no other son (it's sexist, but it's the truth).

Anup probably feels he was able to do something for family despite not being there with them. So Shiv's being handed over to Alok-Ira makes up the regret he might have felt for never being able to be there for family or do much for them.

I'd thought he was a strong headed man. CVs made him another over-liberal Shekhar. Now I see why Meenu never felt urgent need to be honest to him or give priority to him in making decisions.
