Letter From Yash to Palak
My dear angel,
A few words which I could not say --- not because I did not want to but because my emotions did not allow me to --- words which I am sure your mother must have said to you on this special day as you enter a new phase of your life!
I miss her so much today as much as you must be but as a Dad this is all I could do to help you within my realm of offering.
Life is beautiful only when it can be shared with someone --- not just moments of happiness and excitement but also the hard days of dullness and dreariness.
My dear, I wish you don't have many of those but how will you enjoy the splendor of existence without having a taste of the drudgery?
As you embark on this journey with your beloved, it will be wise to remember the promises made to each other time and again so the passage of time does not dilute the passion of togetherness that you share today!
Your mother was an epitome of love during my moments of failing ---- which helped me to shift the superfluous paradigm rather quickly and join her in the brimming affection which she effortlessly sprinkled on me.
You may wonder why you should be the one to do so ----well because you are my daughter and I can only guide you and share the simple tips of a magnificent married life!
God bless you!
Palak read this letter as she opened the gift given by her Dad, Yash on her wedding night.
She had been missing her mother on this day as Aarti was no more. She thought of Aarti more than she did think of Arpita only because she had more memories with her.
She smiled at the tact shown by her Dad in sharing his wisdom in the most beautiful way.
Her husband walked in and saw her reading the letter with utmost care as if she wanted to digest every word written there.
Her husband: Palak, I am blessed to have you in my life.
Palak: I am blessed too ---- for I have you and the clue ---
Her husband: Clue?
Palak shows him the letter and hugs him. Tears rolled down her eyes.
