Agree he is not some nameless faceless entity but realistically she knows nothing of him yet, it's a huge leap of faith in any case to go off to an unknown land with this man who is practically a stranger in all ways. What if, what all that talk was fabricated? I still cannot bring myself to completely trust this guy, his sweetness is what makes me doubt him.
Yes, you do feel for her in the sense that you see that happy bubble shattering soon, it's more like the shoutout and the death of her husband will be a shattering of everything that has kept her sane. But it does not necessarily have to be real, it's a going away of a perception that has been shaped by circumstance and experience but is that necessarily bad for her? May be or may be not, only time will tell. Her unwavering faith in goodness of the Thakur will be shattered eventually, that's not a bad thing!
But you do feel sad for her because you can see that this simplicity would have kept her happy but would it really? What about the scars of her past? The fire has already scarred her a long time ago and she needs healing, and deeper the wound more bitter will be the medicine to heal it. life will change drastically for her. And this time she will have no more dreams to keep her sane and the nightmare will have become her reality :( but may be just maybe that's the only way for her to heal properly and give things a closure.
