DIARY OF A QHian: The Return Of The Knight.

Jan 10:

Dear diary,

Take a deep breath and give thanks to the very many people who toiled to give us our knight back👏...it hardly matters any more whether this was the way we wanted things or not...the only thing that is important is...HE IS BACK IN TOWN!😳 Rejoice!!!🥳

I had to outwit many claims to the remote today😡 and I am so glad I did😃..it was totally worth it...from the beginning to the end. 👏Though I had to pay in small amounts with constant distractions and snide remarks🤔...heh heh..I proved I was as tough as Zoya Faruqui!😉

Raziya: One more failed attempt at Rashid's life, and Raz cannot take it anymore. How dare that imp of a girl outsmart her!!! She quickly lays a trap for Zoya- one into which she bravely, foolhardily walks in...😭

Gafur Ahmed Sidiqui: The Dummy King who did not even realize that he was dancing to the tunes of his queen...always misled in the illusion that he was in charge..when in reality she held the leash...which could any time turn into a noose. Today he must have realized how powerless he was before Raziya's grit and determination.😲

The Faceoff: At the scene of a crime known to be committed but was unproven- by Rashid's bedside. Raziya challenges Zoya to gather evidence against her and leads her to just that...to the scene of a crime that was committed but remains unknown...

A story that started 17 years back..a girl who should have been sent along with her mother. It was a mistake she had been allowed to stay back and come searching for her father. Raziya realises the mistake belatedly and sets about righting that oversight which is threatening to swallow her existence...Asad ko apna abbu milegaa, Gafur Sahib ko apni beti...what was to remain of her once this happened!!!

Haider- Humeira: It was recreation of a memorable scene from a popular film...the point is, it was recreated well.😳 So hats off for that attempt which did justice to the original👏...both the actors were good. Ketki has really blossomed as an actress in this show...and Mohit's expressions especially in the last shot were good..really good...the anger, the self analysis of a man who knows the impact his actions had on a girl who had been too immature and inconsiderate in framing him...his eyes spoke of regret and rage...he had been forced into doing something which was unthinkable, unimaginable for a man of his merit...but it had to be done...for his sake and for the sake of a Humeira who had to learn to be responsible for her actions...needless to say, I loved his expressions!😳

The Knight Returns:

When Zoya was hiding from the goondas she gave a look of utter helplessness- hats off to SJ- the emotion she expressed there seemed to be a dying woman's last prayer...was it fear for her safety or for Mr. Khan's family? A quick thought about the man she was leaving behind, perhaps? Whatever, it was an innocent moment that left an indelible impression on the viewer. 👏

Was it that prayer that got Mr. Khan come searching for the woman he had sworn to protect? (Really hope so. One of the distractions I had to endure, clenching my teeth 😡was on the suddenness of his appearnce out of nowhere...My dear Gul, I hope you will address this and give a befitting reply with Asad explaining to a tearful Ammi that Zoya had alerted him before she went in😃...pleej...😃or did I miss that??!😕😆)

He Came, He Saved, He Conquered...KSG is still the best actor on Indian Television for me. And I will repeat it many times over that only he could have given us the Asad who conquered our hearts...👏but I have to confess that Raqesh did well beyond my expectations. Not bad at all..we have many angry young men on television..Raqesh was as good as Barun...and this was more than we could expect..so really, thanks to everyone who had to convince whoever had to be convinced...especially KSG and Raqesh who dealt with this as thorough professionals...and LM who gave us this rebirth of Asad Ahmed Khan...A BIG THANK YOU!!!🤗

And I realised today there is no point lamenting the loss of an actor who could portray the emotional side of Asad Ahmed Khan best...because that side is lost now. The boy has grown into a man..he does not sulk over a father who left him as a child...nor does he mope over the emotional wounds he inflicted on Zoya...he has grown up now... to take care of his father...and to make sure Zoya has no brush with evil whatsoever for the rest of her life...In other words, THE CHILD HAS MORPHED INTO A MAN WHO IS HELL BENT ON DESTROYING WHATEVER/ WHOEVER HAS HURT THE PEOPLE HE HOLDS DEAR...it was this expression in Raqesh's eyes that must have earned him that A plus from SJ👏...he gets an A from me👏...(A part of me still yearns for KSG...😳)

Precap: Another Asad-less episode??? 😲Again loved Haider's expression..and of course the drama at Haseena's house continues..(Dare we not forget!🥱😆)

I hope all of us who are still watching QH for QH enjoyed the episode...and I hope we continue get this decent dose and portrayal of Asad Ahmed Khan! Would it be too much to ask for good trps too?😃

The Knight has arrived to claim his Princess so has Soup(she has only claimed her remote though 😆 )

The episode had some brilliant piece of acting and direction and was definitely worth fighting for the remote(oh I started there again 😆 )

LM's Direction and Alka Kaushal's performance were fantabulous! 👏

RV did not disappoint either...I particularly loved his expression when he lifted Zoya up in his arms.

We all missed Karan today, God knows we have been punished for what crime so as to not to watch him as Asad in this scene. :(

Nevertheless, I liked the episode very much.

Now if only Qureshi house gets kicked out of the story that would do us a huge favour!

Aapko wapas aana hi tha Soup, aakhir aapne Gul se Mohabbat ka ilzam apne Dil pe liya hai 😳

The epi was fast paced... Haider Humera scenes were well done and I must say MS has surpassed my expectations in his portrayal of Haider ... both he and Ketki were superb...
Razia... stole the show for me today... she was top notch... her monologue and expressions was wow..
Now how can I forgot my Zoya... as usual she walks fearlessly into the trap ... SJ was perfect in her expressions and she was lookin lovely. ... the way she said Mr. Khan 😳
And now for the new entry... what an entry done superbly ...it was screaming of LM's handiwork. ... RV was good, I dont want to comment furthur till I see him perform. ...
So Asad2 is here, our trps are good hope this second innings will be good...
But still missing KSG and cant help wondering how it could have been... 😭
