Hands down Suraj and Suraj.Its one thing to be supportive but Suraj went out of his way in first making Sandy ebb out her dreams which itself was quite a task.Sandy never wanted to pursue her dreams as for her Bhabo's words were equally important (for Sandy Bhabo is her mother's place so one can understand her emotions) but Suraj relentlessly persuaded her as Sandy did for him during the cooking competition.He persuaded her,made her accept ,moved out and did whatever he did to be supportive and most importantly made Sandy's dream his which makes him a very noble person.
During the first day of their marriage at night all emotions of Sandy came out big time but Suraj took that as an opportunity to understand her and her dreams.
I believe his mind-set and transparent/noble heart brought back the same playful Sandy to life from the Stone she had turned after their parents death and with her own dear brother crossing her by lying to her and marrying her (which well eventually turned out to be the best decision of his life for Sandy) off to RM so that he can go to US.
Suraj did not hold any grudge against Sandy's bro and brought both Sandy and her bro back closer again.
He has virtually brought back Sandy to life with his love,affection after all that has happened to her and broke the protective shield of doubt that was clouded in Sandy's heart which was preventing her from loving/trusting anyone and made sandy fall in love over him.
Diya and Baati indeed both are and they are indeed made for each other.
