One feeling with which each and every person of a country is bound is their love for their country.Though all of them might not be equally devoted towards their country but still There is some feeling inside every heart. But is that much enough for a person to be called patriotic?
Most of us here are students all set to make our lives and careers. But how many times do we think about our country while thinking about our careers? How many times do we think that with our respective our careers what can we do for our country? How many times do we keep our country above us.
LRL, we believe, to some extent did triggered some patriotism in us.But what actually patriotism is? Is it restricted to fighting war for our country or does Patriotism means celebrating Independence Day and Republic Day and saluting the rich culture and Heritage of our country.
Personally I believe Patriotism is not all about joining Armed Indian Forces or dying for our country. Its more of a feeling for doing something for our country within all the restrictions we live in. Its not about safeguarding the borders only but also about improving the social, economical and not to forget the political
conditions of our country.Infact we dont even have to go out of way to do that. Even if we fulfill all the civic responsibilities like a good citizen should...for Ex- Abiding the law, paying our taxes and use our vote properly we can help our country in a lot many ways.
So tell me what according to you is patriotism? How many times your action is preceded by a thought for your country? Do you really believe that your country belongs to you as much as you belong to your country? Or till date have you ever done something that was not necessary to be done for your own self but you did only because it can make a difference to someone else's life.....
