was she really known as Mariam Makani ? It was Hamida Banu who got that title after giving birth to Akbar, the heir-apparent. Jagat Gosain got the Title Taj Bibi Bilkis Makani posthumous she was known as Jagat Gosain/Jodh Bai till her death, hence her conversion is also doubtful but she is buried so her conversion thing is possible. Jahangir mentions her death in Tuzuk-I-Jahangiri, he condoled the extremely grieved Shah Jahan which proves that khurram was very much attached to her unlike what Alex Rutherford's novels says.
