This review is ...for lack of a better word...laughable!! There are so many points that we can disagree on.
I am a huge IPKKND fan and wasn't sure if I will take an instant liking to another show. I am still not 100% sure if this show will be as addictive (for me) as the other one. But I must say that so far RR has been Fabulous.
I love the direction, the shots taken so far...the pace of the story. The only gripe I would have is don't begin the show with 5 mins of the previous episode, take away time from the present episode.
Coming back to Review, here is my take:
- Most of the serials today take their inspiration from movies. Nothing wrong with that.
- Ashish - I have watched him in his previous serials(Gunahon ka devta & Rab se sona), though wasn't as addicted to them but that guy can act. He is very emotive but this character is stern and doesnt require much emotions on display. And yet he has done a good job so far...I'd say give the guy a chance. Agree with Sanaya when she says he is one of the most underrated actors.
- The close up shots and Background score give the show the extra oomph required. Infact I love the background score.
- The story sounds intriguing so far.
- I agree on the diction part. If they want to keep the Rajasthani dialect then they have to work a lil more on it.
Cant say much about the chemistry of the lead actors, Its a lil too early for that. But they both are doing a good job. I just hope the story holds up and creative team stays on track this time round.
I am looking forward to RR, and hope its as addictive to me as my prev fav one was.
