lol i found that funny. But even daily soap actors are much better then the likes of Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachan, Zayed Khan, Esha deol. There are many daily soap actresses who are much better than some of the contemporary actresses we have today.

Channels also harp on family angle. Camera often zoomed to Soha's face when Kareena's performance was being shown.

Akshay Kumar's an outsider but never fails to make a big deal of being Rajesh Khanna's damaad ji. I doubt if he'd have added Khanna to Nitara's name if Khanna was some routine family and not THE Rajesh Khanna's name!

Yes Kat came as an outsider but she had Salman Khan as her boyfriend. Its because of Salman that she got movies in the first place considering she could not act, was an average dancer and had tarnished her image with Boom. I don't think Kat can entirely be considered as an outsider who has made it big considering she had one of the biggest insiders of btown by her side. If an outsider had done a Saawirya in their first movie then they would have been written off nonetheless Ranbir is a marvelous actor. Deepika was an outsider when it comes to bollywood. Yes her father is a sportsman but sport and bollywood are two completely different fields.

PC, DP and Kangana have managed to make it big despite giving flops especially DP at one point all her movies flopped. Vidya didn't need a khan or a Dhrama/yrf film to make it big.
