The performances and scenes were pretty much seamless. The clunk was not only nowhere near the drowning levels of the past many months, but was moreover acceptable because the presentation was stellar.
The Kukku-Bhujang (with or without a third) plan is perhaps the most vicious plan from any villains in the entire duration of MEIEJ to date.
A plan which, if successful, would make both RK and Madhu perhaps regret their very existence.
RK has severe trust issues. If his wife and kin were to accept that imposter in his stead, and consequently turn against him in the belief that he himself was imposter, it would mark all his relationships with an undercurrent of vitriol regardless of their later regret or his trying to be understanding after the debacle's sorting.
Add to that the fact that this would be yet another infamy against Madhu's prestige in the public opinion of the MEIEJverse.
Earlier at least, RK was the cause of or trusted her in spite of adverse appearances.
But here, though he is sure to trust her word that nothing happened, her failing to live upto his exalted opinion of her love and not recognizing him would taint their relationship, in addition to familial and public opinion of her if it is later revealed that she was conjugally staying with the imposter believing him to be RK.
Desperately hoping the CVs don't intend such an appalling turn, not even as a ploy by the couple.
It would *not* be clever. It would be yet another victory handed to the antagonists on a silver platter.
RK's staking his hard-earned fortune to make that stardom-backfiring film that Amar Behl could have danced in joy for the implication of was quite bad enough.
Let the leads not have their dignity any further eroded with any more variations of colossal stupidity to help the villains achieve their goals with the leads dedicated efforts to ensure their own defeat.
