The Plight of Women...

To think in a free country woman can't choose their husbands,
To think that a snake choosing a bowl of milk decides when one wants to get married,
To think an innocent girl will walk straight into hell not knowing what the future holds,
To think she might marry a woman who might be a womaniser or pevert or even a murderer,
To think that girls are born free but everywhere in chains...
These were the thoughts which comes to mind when we see the inoocent shy smile of Paro when her marriage was kind of fixed...
This may be a show
But it is a fact in many parts of the country---
And that is the sad part.
This thought struck a chord in the woman in me
And Sanaya made the chord strike the right note with her expressions---
The future of paro is going to be a difficult journey---an innocent sacrificed to traditions and ignorance

in the name of society
in the name of culture
in the name of family
and if they rebel then too they are victimised
