cannot agree better, she has failed as a mother. It is so hard for me to say that, because, being a mother, it hurts to see a mother fail. Simran did not bring up Astha as a responsible person. If she had done that, Astha would not have been doing what she is doing now.

Well, to some extent think Simran is responsible but I would not put the blame 100% on her. No parent would want their children to become what Aastha has become! Aastha has also become very very misguided because of Kiran and now she is hiding as much from her parents as they were. To some extent parents are responsible for what the child becomes but there are many many external factors that influence the way a child turns out to be. As for not telling her about Abhi-Kiran, Simran wanted to but Abhi prevented her from doing so saying she would start hating him too.

When I meant Simran failed as a mother, I mean that Astha does not realize the importance of people around her. Simran has made her think that the entire world revolves around her. She did not discipline Astha enough. Being a single parent, it definitely is difficult to bring up a child and not know if what you are doing is right or wrong. It looks as though all whims and fancies of Astha were fulfilled. That is not how we bring up kids. Simran may have done that because she felt that would make up for the lost father, but sadly that is not how it works.

The fact that Astha is behaving this way is because the seed if doubt was laid by Simran and Abhi. They should have figured out how to tell her all the details and not wait for 'time' that never comes. Even the previews, we see that she tells everybody that Astha will come out 'by herself'. How would she, unless Simran can bring the trust back. I am not a Simran fan or a Astha fan here, am just trying to see what went wrong with the mother-daughter that the daughter went to live with a man called dad who ditched his 2 mths old daughter.

Hope they do not kill Astha! That will be a pity. Where is this story going?

Agreed with this 100%. Simran undoubtedly had her insecurities when bringing up Aastha.

They should just leave her alone. She is crazy. 😡
