Aastha leaves home early in the morning under the pretext of going to college. Sia, suspicious of her intentions, follows her and sees her enter Kiran's house. Simran is overwhelmed with the welcome she receives at the hospital. Sia and Sid reach Kiran's house, and are greeted by Aastha at the door.

Aastha refuses to go home with Sia and Sid but agrees on Kiran's insistence. Aastha threatens Sia and Sid with dire consequences if they disclose the truth to Abhi and Simran. Through Aastha, Kiran finds the place where they are celebrating Simran's birthday and goes to the restaurant and wishes Simran. Sia notices some empty medicine foils in Aastha's room and asks Sid about them. Kiran gets Aastha introduced to a sleazy film producer who offers her a role in his forth-coming film. Aastha yearns for her dose of pills only to realize that she has run out of them. Sia and Sid confide with Simran, about Aastha. Simran, Sia and Sid go to Kiran's house and ask Aastha to come along with them but Aastha refuses.

Simran returns without Aastha. On speaking with Simran, Abhi who is in Goa realizes that something is terribly amiss and returns to Mumbai. Abhi is furious on learning about Aastha. Kiran encourages Aastha to go alone for the shooting of the film and in the meanwhile, calls the producer and demands for her commission. Abhi reaches Kiran's place looking for Aastha. Abhi rushes to the set only to find Aastha shooting an intimate scene.

Amid much resistance, Abhi brings Aastha home. Sia, Simran and Abhi think of ways to stop Kiran from influencing Aastha but are unsuccessful in bringing Aastha around. The film producer threatens to replace Aastha if she stops shooting. Kiran arrives with the police claiming that Aastha is being held captive by her parents. Everyone is shocked. Aastha is called in for interrogation where she gives her testimony against her family. Aastha leaves with Kiran, leaving behind a devastated Sia, Simran and Abhi.

Sia tries to console Abhi and Simran. On the other hand, Kiran consoles Aastha and offers her a drink. Shaguna reminds Simran that it is Ganesh Chaturthi and that they have to bring the idol of Ganpati home. Simran is upset that Aastha is not around on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Simran calls Aastha, but Kiran answers her phone, and tells her that Aastha will not come home for Ganpati. At the time of performing the Aarti, Aastha comes over to Simran's house and takes over. Everyone is touched and overjoyed.

Aastha leaves as soon as the Aarti is over. Kiran gets another offer for a film for Aastha. Kiran's maid observes her keep half the amount of Aastha's remuneration for herself. Sia sees Aastha secretly observe the Ganpati immersion. Simran is awakened by a nightmare. Simran and Abhi immediately rush to Kiran's place demanding to take Aastha back. Aastha in turn insults both of them. Simran tells Kiran that she will fight for her daughter and ensure that she gets her back.

Kiran tells Aastha to preempt Simran's plans of getting her back. The lawyer tells Abhi and Simran that since Aastha is a major, they will have to prove that Kiran is misguiding her, if they want to bring Aastha back. Sia feels guilty about the current situation. Anil Shourie tells Kiran to vacate the house in return of money, but Kiran refuses. Anil Shourie comes back to give Kiran a cheque and finds Aastha at home and finds out from Heera that Aastha is daughter of Simran and Anand daughter. He is shocked.

Anil sees through Kiran's plans and tries to dissuade Aastha from getting influenced by Kiran but Aastha pays no heed. Meanwhile, Anil Shourie goes to Abhi and Simran confides in them about Aastha's drinking habits. Simran and Abhi call the police and decide to go to Kiran's place the following morning. They plan to press charges against her claiming that she has been influencing Aastha to consume intoxicants. When Abhi and Simran reach Kiran's they find Aastha missing.

Kiran tells the police that Aastha only came to visit her occasionally and didn't stay with her. Heera takes them to the flat where Aastha stays. Aastha clarifies with the police that she stayed there because her father and stepmother aren't supportive of her career choice. Anil goes to the police station and tells Abhi and Simran that he has asked Kiran to vacate his flat but to no avail. Shaguna goes to meet Aastha at Kiran's place and Aastha humiliates her. Simran tells everyone to stop worrying about Aastha. She believes that Aastha will have a change of mind eventually.

Kiran introduces Aastha to another agent. Abhi and Simran receive an invitation for a product launch and Sia insists that they go for it. Abhi and Simran go for the function. Aastha appears as "Sheena" the model who launches the product and everyone is surprised. A few journalists ask Aastha some questions and she tells them that she is the daughter of the famous yesteryear actress, Radha who is now in a mental asylum because of someone who was present in the room. Abhi and Simran decide to leave when Kiran asks them to congratulate their daughter.
