Hii All DABHians
Hope - So many of you remember me. I enjoy the forum lot and finally decided to post something on the last weeks track.

I hope the topic has not been posted earlier.

In the Friday episode , it was shown that in the train Sooraj opens the tied Mauly (the pious red thread in his hand) and makes a Heart shape out of it to express his feelings for Sandhya. It was so so beautiful moment and I must say that the Director must take a Bow for thinking and writing such a nice and beautiful Scene which was Romantic-cum-pious one.

Further, with @shruthiravi comments in the thread later on, I would like to enrich the post :

" Sooraj creates the heart with the sacred thread. Then both of them keep their hands within that sacred thread and talk. I somehow feel it was the symbolism on the sacred relationship Sooraj and Sandhya share. That is marriage. Understand that both of them had treated marriage sacred. In the beginning there was no love for Sooraj from Sandhya's side. But she considered the relationship sacred , hence she didnt wanted divorce. Sooraj loved Sandhya knowing fully well she didnt love him and was not even sure whether she will ever love him. Still he too continued in that marriage because he also considered it sacred.
It was the reverence and respect they both gave to marriage that made them take the journey together and eventually they became a couple compltely in love with each other
That scene was to indicate that even going forward whatever challenges may be thrown in front of them they will continue to respect the sacred relationship they are in and at no time will do anything that will affect the sancitiy of that relationship.
My intrapration is because they have connected DABH part 2 very much to Ramayana. It is said that Sita spent almost a year in Ravan's captivity and some texts claims it to be 11 months. Exact time period of Sandhya in training

It shows Love is equal to God. He uses something which is treated as very religious and pious by Hindus as it is tied by the Purohit/Pandit/Priest in the temple in front of God. The same thread Sooraj uses to express his feelings for Sandhya. It was so so nice to see. I am finding myself short of words to express myself.

Dont you agree that Love is directly related to God. God himself preaches the LOVE for all. Love between human being - be it for Spouse, Parents, Children or Love for Neighbours, Needy, Poor etc etc. Even all the Great People preach the same. All Religions have chosen the Path of Love for ulimate Goal of Salvation. In todays times, a thread of God is used as symbol for love, I have teary eyes and I feel that the Sanskaras of India Culture and Civilization are intact and no one can take them away from us.

There may be some people who might be offended stating that Sooraj has misused such a pious thing. But just hold - till now there are no such sentiments as of now and I would not be surprised if people take it positive and applaud the Director.

DABH has rocked the TVT and it has been applauded by most of the Print & Other media on its journey so far- being the Numero Uno show on the Indian Television for such a long time. We all DABHian Congratulate and wish it a Best of Luck for 2014.

Thanks all for taking so much of your time to read it.

Enjoy DABH

cheers

Just curious! I am not making fun of ur sentiments! Please accept my apologies in advance if my question offended u!

What would ur reaction be or the audiences, if sandy were to take the mangal sutra n made a heart to express her love?!

Ops.. Thats really tough to call...

But personally I feel.. she need not do that .. The mangal Sutra is not merely the sign of a married girl. Its shows how much she loves her husband by always keeping it near her heart. I may be wrong but I do feel in the same way.

Further, for every Hindu Girl, Mangal Sutra is a must- the mauly in a boy's hand is not like that. Anybody can have it by going in a temple. But a mangal sutra can not worn by any Hindu Girl. It takes a lot of rituals to have one.

So ..not offended.. but wud like to request not to compare mauly with a mangal sutra.

hopefully i am thr.
lols thanks for posting a comment btw

enjoy DABH

cheers

Thanks for replying.

Edited, because didnt want to ruffle any feathers.

Iam not trivializing mangal sutra, it is very sacred for every Hindu girl.
Was just wondering why men don't wear anything to indicate their commitment n love, n why one rule for women n one for men.

U dont have to answer that! 😊

Nice post.

hi manish, nice to see your post...totally agree with GOD is LOVE...

lol Geeth once I asked one elderly man about your question, why men don't wear anything to indicate their commitment n love...he said women always need something to keep reminding them that they are married but men dont need it 😆 (but personally I feel actually it's women who created all this thing/rituals and symbolism)...I dont think any man will complain if a girl is not wearing a thali or MS, only another woman will mock her)

coming to DABH, I think this is the only serial that shows separation beautifully...and about how a married girl can still chase her dreams and her dilemma as well...Im sure even after many years after the serial ends, people will surely talk about this show and its inspirational characters...
