Oh man, i would hope that you'd find it in your heart to forgive the mistakes of a 20-21 yr old Arjun barely out of his teens and the mistakes of a 18-19 yr old Purvi...like the mistakes of 19-20 yr old Ovi were forgiven! C'mon yaar, they were young kids na! Playing with fire and got burned!

See i watched the forum go up in flames for the past week and refrained from commenting. i was, in hindsight, waiting for yesterday's episode. I wanted to see arjun's reaction to purvi's actions and purvi's to arjun's and their intentions, stated and otherwise, before reaching any conclusion. See i did really like purvi once. laughed with her when arjun confessed and almost cried with her after arovi marriage. so i was really hoping that it was not her doing this on purpose to get a rise out of arjun but the ambitious and successful business woman in her had gotten the better of her and she couldn't see past her will to seal a deal. but i often forget that this is pr and lead women in this serial are just pathetic. i had high hopes from ankita as i thought she would be a more outspoken and non-bechari version of archana. but no. she's a step ahead of aaji and aatya in the #imabechari game- who the hell sits by quietly when ur husband is getting married other than uneducated village girls who don't know any better?!? anyways sorry coming back to purvi- SO many people have argued that people who've criticized her behavior are ageists and that 46 year olds have the right to feel jealous just as 19 year olds. yes sure they do, they can even react to that by drinking and flirting and whatever. i have no problems- thats their lives. but that doesn't mean that they are not embarrassing. whether its the east or the west, women who do these utpatang harkat like invite pervert chadda's bad attention (purvi admitted she went along with chadda's grossness because she wanted to prove that arjun cares about her) to get attention from a man who is, in the eyes of the present public, another woman's husband, are embarrassing themselves and are looked upon as undignified attention seekers. today what happened to purvi was embarrassing and shameful. what the hell did she hope to prove in this situation?!? did she think that if arjun and ovi were not pretending and were genuinely husband and wife, then arjun would not save her?!? that ludicrous. any man who has known her as family, especially her sister's husband would definitely save her. if the situation was reversed, then would she expect arjun to stand by and watch ovi get manhandled by chadda? how in the world does that prove ANYTHING? how does that prove that arjun isn't married to ovi and still in love with her? this is the thing, this is the kind of illusion that 19 year olds nurture- like ovi did, that arjun loved her because he saved her- not a nearly fifty year old woman. its not about feeling things but about how you choose to act on those feelings. purvi is no newbie to the concept of hiring detectives or doing detectivegiri herself, so why doesn't she just investigate in the public records or get a detective to do it and check for arovi's marriage certificate and medical records and pia's supposed school records and stuff? things that would ACTUALLY prove that they are lying rather than loosing her dignity in public?

Hey! Thanks for replying and i really enjoyed your post! I think it all comes down to perspective. You say purvi has never been as helpless as Ovi in reality regarding arjun. This, i think is your perspective. I agree she hasn't in terms of Arjun. She always had the upperhand in the relationship and controlled not just Arjun but Ovi indrectly also. But i disagree with that statement if we're speaking generally in terms of life and choices etc. but that's for another day.

Anyways, i think it comes down to perspective. I like Purvi, arjun and Ovi. I've praised Ovi and I believe i'm the first person and probably only one who supported Ovi helping Arjun. Im not sure of you remember that post of mine when this track began... Anyways, everyone had their own perspective and see things differently. I like all 3 characters but i just think a lot of vulgar and cheap shot are made at Purvi. Shes def wrong in a lot fo what she did... But the way the bashing is done... Its like she killed little children on TV. I think you would agree with me on tbis point at least that a lot of purvi bashing becomes very cheap and disgusting. Thats why purvi fans will shoot back the ovi did this etc b/c a lot of memebers will apply diff rules to both girls and hold them to diff standards. One example of this is Ovi fans free Ovi of all guilt and wrongdoing in the deal. They don't hold her reaponsible at all. But i'm not here to convince u of anything, just trying to shed light on the back and forth arguments.

I don't rly think its worth debating though. This brain tumor track was introduced b/c of RD leaving right? It doesn't show any continuity in the show. arjun was expressing his undying love for purvi and then nxt day all the sudden hes married to ovi. It doesnt make sense. Just like when they showed Ovi leaving to Canada, drinking, travelling back and forth and all the sudden with a baby. This track didnt make sense either b/c Shruti had left at one point. A lot of the tracks dont match or make little sense b/c the writers change them according to the behind the scenes drama with the actors. Frankly speaking, i think theres a lot with PR & the poor outcome of the show is the result. And we're sitting here debating back and forth and fighting over their stupid storyline. Its very stupid and not worth it. Ive stopped watching PR and jus read updates here and there now. The show is a complete disaster and causing a lot of arguments on theforums. Thats all.
