That's one lame, lame title. But I am in one of my rare moods of ecstasy and ironically enough D3 added to it today instead of making me question my sanity for still watching it. If we start at the beginning, it was not very promising. For, Swayum and Sharon's conversation was frustratingly open-ended. Swayum should take all the time in the world he needs to forgive Sharon. But I am beginning to think it'd be better if he takes all that time along with some monologue.
In all honesty, today's episode was one of the rare well balanced ones the show has in its kitty. And since, I liked SwaRon best and after such a long, real long time - I am gonna talk about it here. 😳
The scene in the kitchen was fresh, in my opinion. It had the newness to it that even I don't mind and most of you know that I mind almost everything. So, Sharon was only just showing Swayum her efficient skill at potato cutting. Swayum panics when Sharon's finger hadn't even been scratched by the knife. Then they discuss all the dishes potato is used in and ah, they somehow had to arrive at Somasa, Aaloo and Shalu. It is a deranged and horribly comical song. 🐷 The point is that I was smiling really really broadly throughout the scene. Swayum and Sharon no longer have the old friction between them. I like it when they can both be at such ease around each other. Sharon wasn't being stupid like she is often these days, she was really enjoying herself. The scene worked well because it wasn't a part of Sharon's mission back into Swayum's life. Also, Swayum was the good old Swayum we are all fond of, so, um, how can that not be liked, eh?
Mehta and Maheshwari were brilliant! Also, might I add, Vicky saved Sharon's grace. I was sure Sharon's involuntary hug to Swayum was going to ruin the scene before that one for me. But it didn't. For, the whole chance maar rahi hai thing just worked so well. 😳😆
Right so, in my opinion, those two were beautiful today. The writers gave us a meaningful scene today and I don't think the length is objectionable as long as there is substance. It was just such a delightful sequence, I want to congratulate the writers and actors alike. Super. 😃
