Why is the winner not awarded according to the number of votes?

Really annoyed about this ! Everyone is arguing who BB will give the title.No it us as a public who are awarding someone a title

I don't think people would have an issue with impartiality of Bigg Boss has Tanisha or Armaan (who have strong Bollywood influences in their background) been treated like ANY other contestants, but for a number of weeks consistently Salman has tread lightly when it came to both of them whilst giving the hardcore grilling to other contestants. Yes, that is Salman and that doesn't mean he is necessarily reflecting Bigg Boss.

HOWEVER, when Bigg Boss let Tanisha's triple push slide, Armaan's mop issues slide AND not even air it, giving Gauhar a speech (tomorrows precap) - when contestants deemed MUCH more entertaining publicly are evicted before dull Tanisha - YOU CANNOT BLAME people for QUESTIONING whether the winner will be titled according to votes.
