I for one am not going to abandon my love for writing fanfiction simply because the show is going downhill I am working on a new story and my new work will be titled 'Obliterate'
I am still working out a few glitches in the tale but the basic concept is:
1. it is set after the Zoyaan Nikah, in my story the ZOyaan Nikah has ended and ASad and Zoya get married in the presence of Asad's family only but Tanveer manages to poison Asad's mind against Zoya by leading him to believe that Zoya has been unfaithful to him during her marriage to Ayaan so in a fit of anger Asad does a despicable act which he will definitely regret later.
2. Dilshad will initially be the only one to discover Asad's despicable act and go against her own son and help Zoya escape the man she now fears. SHe will then confront her son and when he discovers what a grave mistake he has made he will try to bring Zoya back
3. Zoya will leave and go to her grandfather ( my first new character) Goolaam Faiz Ali Faarouqui (I imagine him to look like the actor Kabir Bedi) who is an affluent NRI living in London and her mother's father. It will be shown that Zoya's mother Zainub was married to Siddiqui (a man of lower social standing than her) and that he had killed her so he can acquire her wealth. Zoya's grandfather is aware of Siddiqui's true face and wants to keep his granddaughter safe so he arranges for her to marry her childhood friend Ali (my second Character I imagine him to look like Iqbal Khan) who knows Siddiqui's true face. Unfortunately Zoya's grandfather does not know about AsYa's Nikaah but Zoya tells Ali the truth and he accepts her knowing what she has been through and helps her rebuild her life and hating Asad for hurting her.
4. Back in Bhopal Asad teams up with Ayaan and Humaira in his search for Zoya. Humaira will discover the truth about ZOya being her sister when she finds the music box amongst Zoya's things, she will tell her father about her discovery.
5. Siddiqui will get angry with Razia when he learns that his eldest daughter was alive and living with them yet he was not told, he laments over this and here I want to explain the real reasons why Razia wants Zoya as far away from Siddiqui as possible. [here I wish to write Razia a little differently than how she is on the show, she will still be the villain but I want to explore her psyche a little more with this story]
6. After a few years Asad and Zoya come face to face but she is with Ali and since technically she was never properly divorced from Asad she will have to choose between the man who has destroyed her and the man who has rebuilt her all while trying to save herself from the horrors locked deep inside her past
7. I am still deciding if the ending is to be happy or sad...I go back and forth between the two so comments and criticisms will be very helpful right now
