the beauty of their dances is that DANCE always rules - a lot times , mostly its the dance which wuld have stood out in their performances. its not so much about rey or kriya or their feelings or relationships or lack of it or whatever but its the DANCE- and its amzing that they convey exactly what the song or music intends to convey but hardly ever will the pair intrude...
except of course in certain sequences when rey or kriya or both of them had to be more important than the dance itself , than the steps and movements and stance and poses themselves- when rey or kriya or their feelings had to be conveyed - that has been beautiful too
in my eyes this has been in their first duet - hum the wo thi- when rey tried telling kriya they could match , in shaam bhi koi- when both were unmindful of the world happy with joy of schoolkids and reys adoration was clearly shown and in the other tujhko jo paya- where kriya s putting all her ambitions and even aspirations second to rey and says she wants him to win the footloose , one of the few times that she has really verbalised her respect and adoration for rey and rey was like theres only US , no competition between us at all.
( though personally for me tujhko jo paya only brings TR in the minds eye-hopeless TR fan )
and then there was yesterdays dance - if it was a dance or music or song - it was a physical expression of a lot of stuff that would unfold later and that has been suppressed before ...kriya and rey both.
yesterday dance didnt rule- it was Rey and Kriya and feelings
