I've been following KSG since Kasauti days and it's obvious and kind of natural that i'll be biased and lean on to his side but:
There's definitely something missing. And whether we believe it or not, we the fans are definitely not going to get a full picture of what happened on the sets or outside. Whichever it is. Unless an inside source, Karan or the PH themselves decide to tell us. As far as I'm concerned, I think that labeling him as unprofessional is a bit unprofessional for them too. Giving excuses of him saying he's ill then he was later seen holidaying? I find it hard to believe because if this was the issue then they would have shown him the door months back. If they're going to be using such baseless stuff then the least they could do is give a reliable source of where that came from. I'm saying this because the news of KSG being on holiday is always something that's spoken about everywhere and I didn't see the PH raising an issue over it for many months. Now that they have low trps they're trying to find as many excuses to cover up for the way they actually ruined the track which caused the loss of viewers.
On the other hand, Karan could have been at fault too. His hair for instance does not suit AAK at all. Could this be the reason of calling him unprofessional? We will never know. Karan turning up late to the sets and shooting for a minimal amount of hours then leaving. Could this be the reason? We will never know. Or him getting very little screen space on the show cause him to act unprofessionally? We will never know. Maybe Karan was unhappy with the current track of the show? Another possibility is that Karan is taking too much time off for holidays? We will never know.
There are many missing pieces to this puzzle and the questions above can only be answered if Karan or Gul or a very very very reliable strong source actually states the whole truth. Karan could be at fault or the PH could be at fault. Maybe they're all at fault. I've mentioned it before that I really wish they could sort this out before it turns really ugly. They could come to a conclusion that will benefit Karan, the PH and the fans. Feels like it's going to remain a dream but hey! everyone's got a right to dream and believe.
As for now, all we can do is either try to brush this aside and carry on with our normal lives or we can sit, cry and moan about it. Whichever one people choose to follow, I still advise everyone not to reach any conclusion and post stupid and immature things on here until Karan has given an official statement.
However, if Karan does leave the show, I feel that they should wrap up the show because no one can portray AAK as perfectly as him. The AsYa nok-jhoks, the woh actually, the ammi woh bechari nahi hai, Mitwa moments. I cannot even think about thinking of imagining another AAK except Karan. But nonetheless, I wish Surbhi all the best. She is a very talented actress and she will be able to carry the show even though it's going to be extremely hard for her, she still has a very huge fan base which she acquired within a short time. The team has a whole bunch of amazingly talented actors and actresses but it's a shame they don't use them to the best of their ability. I wish the whole team of QH best of luck.

A lot of people keep saying that me wishing they end the show is harsh. I don't think it's harsh. It's just my opinion. They should just end his role and wrap up the show instead of replacing him or just find some way to end Asad in the show. And if people actually did read the post right, they will see that I did mention that I wish the show the best because I know it's unfair to end the show but the amount of viewers that will quit the show after KSG's leave is unimaginable, and whether we all believe it or not, this will result in the trps falling further. So whatever they do, it's all in their hands. Let's just wait and watch what happens.
