Jai Ho won't do well at the multiplexes. It looks like a mixture of Wanted and Garv. If the story and execution is as decent as Wanted, it will do well, but it looks like a B-grade typical Southern flick. I can't see multiplexes audiences accepting it.

Salman's movies usually don't have great WOMs. Apart from Dabbang and Ready--both which had excellent WOMs, Salman's movies don't exactly have the best WOMs. A very good movie like ETT didn't have as good a WOM as Ready/Dabbang, so when you consider the director of Jai Ho, the poor production value, the trailers so far, and the released song--it looks set to be another Wanted, if lucky--or, worse, another Garv.

Sohail should really be shot or something. He made this movie for 15 crores and sold it for 120 crores. Technically, it would need 180+ for BB business, from what I know. That just isn't possible if the multiplexes aren't on board AND knowing the WOM of Salman's movies, it's not going to sustain well in the second half.

It would be a great feat if the movie grossed as much as Ready because the budget is lower than that of Ready, excluding whatever Salman's fees was for this one. But the problem lies herein now. Media will portray it like it's some major disappointment, not considering the budget and the production value of the movie, whilst comparing it to Dabbang, ETT, and Bodyguard.

Salman really dropped the ball with this one.

Its not possible that Jai Ho will make only half of Dhoom 3 as salman khan is the most popular actor of bollywood among the people of India. People love to watch the movies of Salman Khan and it has been seen in his earlier movies and will be seen in Jai Ho also.
