Can audience sue a network or a channel???
I mean, as a consumer if i find that the manufacturer is promising me wrong things and not delivering them in their product, i can file a consumer case..similarily, if i suspect that the vites are rigged in reality shows, does nt that make the channel guilty?

All across the country people spend money to send SMS to save their favorites but instead if channel is rigging the evictions, is it not cheating and can we not sue the channel?

Channel must be making money from the mobile network due to the tie but it is poor people's money that they are looting.. So is it not like a scam? Can we not sue the channel?

Like what iur politicians do.. Make false promises and eat away our taxes. Atlst with SMS we have choice of not sending them.😆

I wish someone files a case and brings down the whole SMS voting scam down.. Not just for BB but all reality shows inclusive. Else the channel should be able to provide solid evidence that not a single SMS was discarded and results are driven solely by the votes.

Any lawyers to advise?😆

Right to Information Act can give us information but Channel will cleverly put disclamers to safegaurd themselves. so it would ideal to seek RTI through service providers

But this seems like the story of all channels and all reality shows.😭
I dont want poor us to get fooled ( not that i vote through SMS but am sure they would be many who do)

I would have liked if sofia sued the channel for promoting violence tham armaan...they were wrong to let tanisha stay, kushal to return and not saying anything to armaan. Rather than the HMs i think it was the channel who was at fault for not reacting.

If youve got loads of money and time on you hands, go ahead.
But its a reality show, nothing worth spending thousands over.

Yes, you can, if you have loads of money.

You can also file complaints to the I&B ministry which has been pushing channels to come clean on reality shows. The ministry knows that all these shows are scripted, but as usual won't take any action.

But some kind of public pressure, litigation will force to biggest fraud on consumers, VOTING!

Yes, vote all you want, it is at the channel's discretion. Read their legalese. IT is quite funny. Basically it boils down to the channel doing whatever they want.

Here is a sample from voting terms and conditions.

<<
  1. The voter(s) of the Poll agrees that he/she shall hold harmless the Channel, Viacom18, its employees, officers or any other person in relation to any injury/damage/harm/loss suffered by him/her, in any manner, whatsoever in connection with the Poll and shall also not file in person/ through any family member and/or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum anywhere in the World against the sponsor and/or the Channel and/or Viacom18 to claim any damages or reliefs' or otherwise.

You will never vote if you read the gull terms. I do not.
