Are you feeling nervous playing anchor for Sony's Life Ban Jaye?
I'm very nervous. I'm supposed to shoot the first episode on Monday. Life is a celebrity chat show and a countdown of the week's top five films and songs. We will have either John Abraham or Kunal Kapoor as a guest on the first episode. Initially, I was even hesitant to appear for the audition. But the production team knew me for a long time because of Hussain and insisted that I take the screen test.

Was Hussain supportive?
He has played a major role in encouraging me, the same way in which he convinced me to participate in Nach Baliye 2. The shooting schedule of Life is also not as hectic as the daily soaps. It will require me for just a few hours, once a week. Hussain was confident that I would be able to manage it and he convinced me.

Are you doing any homework for the show?
The production team has already sent me the script. I am also brushing up my Hindi so that I can manage an impromptu conversation. Besides, I have requested the channel so that I can spend some time with my celebrity guests before we face the camera. It may enhance the comfort level between us.

Will you consider anchoring as a future profession?
I can't say anything till the shoot begins. It depends on whether I enjoy doing the show.

How has life changed after Nach Baliye 2?
Hussain just didn't let me stop dancing, even after Nach Baliye 2 ended. I feel humbled by people's overwhelming response after our performance at various shows. Even at a hospital, where I had to spend few days for a minor stomach pain, everyone congratulated me on Nach Baliye 2. At times, all of this makes me a bit embarrassed.
