All I can say after watching this week's episodes so far is bravo to the Vyas men.

They have bent over backwards for this family, and don't always get appreciated for what they have done. The one woman who has stood by them and supported them, is Dugba. She is the one who was against Saras marrying anyone else besides Kumud, and she was the one who didn't blame Saras when he pulled the switch. The rest of the family is unable to accept their unstable daughter's condition so they have to plead with others to deal with it.

Like when Pramad's mother couldn't teach her son proper values, she expected Kumud to keep the fast and make a man out of him. Now poor Danny is being expected to do this with the new Pramad, Kusum. True she doesn't drink or physically abuse people, but she obsesses over herself and whatever she wants. She would rather listen to Kalika and her big mouth then wash the inappropriate behavior out of her life. Just like Buddhidhan is the voice of reason in that family, Dugba is the same for this one.

Expecting someone who lost his mother so tragically and painfully to compensate for a less than normal girl's lack of sense is unreasonable and unjust. No matter how much they love Kusum, they can't give in to her. Sooner or later, Danny will get fed up and just leave. No questions asked. Saras patiently waited for Kumud to be free, but it's only now that he gets the appreciation and "forgiveness" for following his own heart instead of Kumud's. Kumud has never lost a parent or anyone close to her, so she can't claim to understand what Saras went through.

But her bringing back Danny is a step in the right direction.

Kusum is the new Pramad. But precap looks like she is realizing it. Not sure.

Desais have been made spineless n dumb by the new set of writers. they are all scared of that kusum.

Danny was treated like a servant by desais earlier. Saras get a little respect atleast. But see how much they have to do to earn this. And look how Saras had to forget what kumud did. Oh if she didn't beg saras didn't have to do this.

Today what dadaji said was so silly. He was contradicting himself. First he said, havan will increase love. Then he says it cannot. Writers have it in them but are not serious.

I think the only way haven can increase love if it exists in the first place. But creating it out of nowhere is like working a miracle. It's silly like you said because doing puja with Pramad and Kumud in all of the rituals never made a difference to their marriage, it only brought out the flaws. Let's see where the cvs are taking us.

All I can say is that I hope Kusum treats Danny better because she is getting on my last nerve. 😃

I am worried for danny too. His feelings need to be addressed now. He is getting hit hard by this.

I like your reply. Well maybe Dadaji had a lot of faith in puja but after seeing how stubborn Kusum was he changed his mind. I agree with you there, faith can make a huge difference in a person's life speaking from experience. =) I mean, if Saras didn't have faith in his love for Kumud she wouldn't have forgiven him after he came back to India and Danny must have the same kind of faith in his own love for Kusum that she will accept him as hers. Great point.

I think Kusum will come around but she has to hit a roadblock first to realize that Saras can never be hers (on any level) and then I think Danny will be there to help her pick up the pieces. When she has seen rock bottom, she will appreciate his help all the more to becoming normal. Then his love and commitment will no longer seem like a natak because she will also feel it. This show has always been about love going under trial. Saras and Kumud didn't reach this place overnight, they took their time to do it. And Danny and Kusum aren't going to get there in the blink of an eye either, it wouldn't be realistic. But say like with the eyelock recently and the way they looked at each other touching Dadaji's feet, there is that connection and it just needs to be developed.
