I hate Nik with a passion. But I think it's more that I hate FW because they ruined CID with such a character. If they wanted they could have made Nik into a proper officer, but they made him a joker instead.

I don't think Nikhil has progressed that much since his debut back in 2011. He is a great guy but there is nothing much to know about him and thats FW's fault for never concentrating on his character. Purvi debuted around the same time as him but she progessed so much and probably she is one of the best female officers after Asha and Tasha. Nikhil is the same guy that he was back in 2011 with blank expressions and constant crying. He being the shishya of Daya is extremely annoying. Who behaves like that in a police force. Well yet his funny side is good. I think the stupidity bit comes naturally while if it was Freddy it would have look like forced plus embarrassing. He is a good actor but he just needs to impress us more.
