Live in relationship is not a crime nor a sin.

...the Indian Supreme Court has declared it also referring that it's not socially acceptable in India.

Personally, I think it should be an individual's choice to choose. If two consenting adults has no problem in living together...I believe society shouldn't have a problem with it because it's one of our basic human right.

In QH...this doesn't apply because both Asad and Zoya intend to get married but our in a complicated situation. But many couples in urban India are opting for this lifestyle and Bhopal being the capital city of MP isn't a small town.

So shouldn't a change be welcomed?

I dont have anything against live-in relationships ... it's personal choice that should be respected ... as for marriages (marriage certificates to be precise), I dont mean to offend anyone but I see it as a piece of paper where the law is in your business.

It is definitely a choice that two individuals make. But there is a fine line between what is socially, culturally and religiously accepted.

Also depends on which part of the world you live in as ur environment has an affect, an impact on some of your life choices. For example, live in relationships are part if the norm for people who live in the uk but not approved of or allowed in most parts of the middle east.

I cannot agree with you more. I lived together with my husband for 5 years before we decided to get married and that too when we wanted to buy a property together. We never felt not married to each-other while living together.

Absolutely...the environment has a role to play. I believe it's not allowed in Middle East and certain south Asian countries.

Asya havent even crossed their limits yet. And we are all waiting for that day. I think its a personal choice. No one should be judgd because of it. Believe it or not its the 21st century. People have sex before they get married now. I think its regressive to think theres anything wrong with live ins.
I am all for them. And its a perso al choice.

I thinm though once again gul and cvs are simply raisong awareness. They arent against it.
