1) Shloke tells off his mother for punishing Astha for breaking the age old traditions. Shloke does not have problems regarding punishing Astha for going against the age old traditions but the punishment has to come from him or his father. Since he has broken all relations with his mother, hence his mother does not have any right to punish his wife. Anjali was affected by Shloke's words but it did not affect her that much as when Shloke had lambasted her after that murder attempt on Astha that was planned by Abhay. She should have been prepared for this. Now Neeranjan wanted Anjali to control things at home and it is on his orders that Anjali decided to punish Astha. Neeranjan also told Anjali to stop Astha from going home. Neeranjan has told Shloke to keep an eye on Astha and he was the one who initially made Shloke take Astha to her parent's house. Neeranjan also knows that Shloke will do exactly opposite to what Anjali says. If Neeranajan is the willy manipulator then it looks like he does have a good plan regarding keeping Shloke under control and he is using Anjali as the scapegoat. Since Shloke has already warned his parents regarding not repeating what has happened with Swati and that he will leave home if history repeats itself and that his father also will not be able to stop him...so won't Neeranjan choose a different approach regarding controlling Shloke and won't he make sure that his fingers are clean and gets Anjali's gets dirty? If he chooses a softer option and becomes Astha's friend then chances are that history will not repeat itself. Neeranjan has already applied pressure on Anjali by warning her that if things don't go according to plans, he will make sure that she will lose all relations and he has also been manipulating her by making her believe that his hopes are on her shoulder and she is the only one who can stop the family going apart. Anjali on his orders gave harsh punishment to Astha and that made Shloke openly declare that only he and his father have the right to punish Astha. But why should Neeranjan punish Astha? What is he going to get out of it? But if he becomes Astha's friend then things can get interesting because the more Anjali pushes the more Astha through Shloke will go towards Neeranjan.
Misti, Interesting analysis and this shows Niranjan's manipulation at his best. His purpose remains controlling Shlok so that he can continue his dictatorship. But they also showed Niranjan being angry at Shlok's actions just as he was when Shlok married Astha in the temple. So it is possible that the outcome was expected but not the method because Shlok again went off track. Niranjan had emotionally manipulated Shlok and Shlok lost control and packed her bags. It was later on at Astha's house that Shlok regained control of the situation. Niranjan is also angry because Shlok as usual is playing his solo game without telling Niranjan all the details. There is insecurity in him that his plans might not work because of Shlok's propensity to go off tangent because of his mercurial nature.
The more Astha comes under Neeranjan's control the more he can control Shloke through Astha. Neeranjan was also very inquisitive regarding Astha and Shloke's relationship and he has asked Astha about it. Now if Shloke has initially planned everything regarding Avdhut's suspension case then he has walked right into his father's trap because Neeranjan knows that harming Avdhut will make Astha rear her head. Eevn if Shloke has not done anything regarding the suspension order, he still has harmed himself by going after Avdhut. Astha has not taken any drastic sptep because she is still hoping that Shloke will become the guy whom she fell in love with. Shloke knows that and thats why he sarcastically asked her that why is she doing the husband worshipping htng...is it the love for her father or love for him? But if something drastic happens to Avdhut then Shloke might see a different Astha. It was also Neeranjan who made Shloke take Astha home and Shloke was surprised by his father orders. Neeranjan will notwant Shloke to develop deep feelings for Astha so this case of Avdhut's gives him a very good opportunity to play one against the other and also control one through the other.
True. There are hints that something might happen to Avdhoot the way he is shown getting sick and hopeless. Astha is still harboring hopes. That's why she looked at Shlok in that manner yesterday and also packed his stuff with her luggage promptly. But Astha is very stubborn in things that are dear to her. For pati pujan vrat, she did not even listen to Niranjan who tried his best to manipulate her. If something happens to Avdhoot, then she would become quite strong. Also, Shlok has repeatedly told Astha that he does not want to punish Avdhoot. I know that he is punishing Avdhoot the way he is acting with Astha. But in his mind, he is keeping Avdhoot happy while teaching a lesson to Astha. Also he seems to respect Avdhoot in his own way. So Niranjan's plans could again backfire if something happens to Avdhoot.
2) If this is the case then the person who is standing in his path is now mainly Anjali, who as usual is following Neeranjan's orders but doing it her in her heavy handed ways which is bound to irritate Shloke... She is also worried that Astha is not giving importance to Shloke (her husband) and paying more attention to her parents. She has already told off Astha regarding this fact. Now I don't know whether she is scared of history repeating itself and Shloke getting harmed or is she behaving like a traditional mother in law who wants and expects the daughter in law to give preference to the husband over her parents. Today in the last scene when the passport was reported lost...Neeranjan, Sojal and Abhay were very happy but Anjali was not happy. If she thinks that Astha is neglecting Shloke then she will go after Astha and the more she goes after Astha, the more Shloke will become protective towards Astha. So whether she is harsh towards Astha because of Neeranjan's pressure or fact that she does not think that Astha is giving importance to Shloke, the end result might be the same.
It was interesting to see only Anjali being angry that the passport got lost. Since she knows Niranjan so well, she knows that he does not want Astha and Shlok to go for HM and get close without him keeping an eye on them. Yet she looked furious at this passport thing. So to me, it seemed a combination of two things. She does want Shlok and Astha to have a normal type of relationship (whatever normal means to her) and she is also acting like a typical MIL, where she is possessive about her son and the DIL is not good enough. So she disapproves of Astha, is envious of her because of Shlok and Jyoti (Shlok cares for Astha and her situation is better than Jyoti's) , but she still wants her to care for Shlok. This latter part clashes with Niranjan's plan who doesn't care if the everyone in his household is unhappy as the power for him is always the priority.
Shloke becoming more protective towards Astha. That's what happened today (this time it was Neeranjan's pressure on Anjali that did it). He did became protective towards Astha and for some moments his hidden feelings came out. He played with Astha and covered it up but the slip happened. So even if Astha might come under Neeranjan's control, Anjalis actions will also make sure that Shloke become more protective and this in the long run is going to harm Neeranjan's plans. Astha also has a mind of her own and there are less chances of her being under Neerajan's control and more chances of her taking a stand. Then again if he makes Anjali go after Astha, gain the same circle will be repeated. So basically although Neeranjan might have good plans, but he is stuck between the mother and son pair who always will go tangential to each other and also Astha, who without doing anything substantial will make Neerajan go round and round the mulberry bush.
3) Coming back to the episode I liked that Varad told Shloke to carry Astha. Shloke was actually going to make her walk. Shloke has feelings but he is so caught up in this plan of his and also making a point to his mother that he sometimes needs a push. This time it was Varad who gave the push. I also liked him carrying Astha up the stairs and refusing to look into her eyes. He also brought clothes for Astha telling her that if she wears clothes brought by him then her standard will improve. Guess it is going to hurt him a lot to openly acknowledge that he wants her to wear clothes that he has bought for her. He also does not want her mother to go with them in their honeymoon... I don't mean that Kalindi is going to come with them...I meant the jumper that Kalindi made for Astha. Wonder what would have been his reaction if Neeranan had said that he wants to come with them on their honeymoon?😆 Niranjan actually does so that baccha does not go out of his hands. Baccha is too unpredicatable. On top all this he refused to share his suitcase with Astha who was perfectly happy sharing his suitcase. These two need their head banged against each other so that some sense enters their head...Shloke wants Astha to make him the center of her universe but does not want to share his personal space, while Astha is refusing to make him the centre of her universe and is always bringing her father or mother along with her, but is quite happy to share his personal space. So true. They are quite alike and the two most emotional and contrary people in the Agnihotri household. Astha never had a concept of personal space and Shlok is a spoiled brat who wants to have his cake and eat it too.
4) Regarding Sojal...if only Varad pays some attention to Sojal and did not continuously put her down in, then maybe Sojal would not have gone down the wrong path.
Yes, Varad is one of the those people who do not come out in the real world and prefer to live in a dream world of their own. Sojal's materialistic image ruins everything for Varad who fails to notice any of her good qualities. It is also possible that Sojal's love for jewelry is partially her substitute for not getting any affection or appreciation. People do try to find alternative things to fulfill the deficiency in their lives. Here I find Varad to be blamed more than Sojal for her actions. Sojal after all has no good role models in her life to show her the right path. As useless as Vinayak is, at least he is there to guide Varad.
