A few moths ago I had reported a glitch in the IF page. Here's the original two posts...

And it had stopped for a while.

But now it's starting to happen again.

When I am on a different page than the homepage, the page will automatically refresh itself and take me to the IF homepage. Its extremely frustrating, especially if you are reading a post or making a new post.

Now it even happens on the IF homepage. If I am lower down on the page, the page will refresh and bring me to the top of the page.

Can this please be looked into?

I wanted to add that this doesn't happen all the time.

It was happening this morning and i was so incredibly frustrating. I left IF for a while and came back a couple of hours later. Now there's no glitch and it's working just fine.

But there will be times of the day where it will happen incessantly.

I have experienced the same problem and other issues related to editing posts .

Sometimes the bold button doesn't work and highlighted sections are not held.

At other times, posts do not edit, even after updating the post.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

The issue of being redirected to the IF homepage every few seconds has plagued me for over a week now. It doesn't matter what page I am on, I get redirected to the homepage from pretty much every forum including the homepage itself as well as while I am composing replies. It has become absolutely ridiculous now.

It might be a techinal problem, and the technical DT's should address this immediately as it hampers the joy on coming to I-F

In order to resolve the issue we would need your little help to debug the issue.

Please tell me the following:

a) The Operating System (ex: Win 7 / Win 8 / Mac OS)

b) Browser in which you are facing this problem.

c) Does it occur everytime or sometimes when you press a certain button like the back arrow or backspace button.

a) Windows 7 home 64 bit

b) Firefox

c) It occurs every-time, every page I visit, also while I am trying to compose replies, as well as the homepage itself keeps refreshing.
