Well after going through the issue and searching the internet about the same it suggests the following reasons:
a) Automatic Software / Extensions / Plugins update can result in closing of the browser windows.
b) Recently there have been several times when Flash plugin software was crashing and that could be the reason of abrupt closing of the windows.
If it would be an issue of this website it would occur every time and to all of us with similar configuration and that is not happening.

I do not have automatic updating and I only have a few basic plugins anyways. Also, I had rebooted my firefox browser a while back, cleaned out the cache and everything. So none of this is causing the problem.
I have had no issues with windows closing, that's not the problem. The issue is that whatever page I am on, on Indiaforums, I get redirected to the Indiaforums homepage.
The problem is with Indiaforums alone and no other website. Even when I am on a different tab I can see the IF tab reloading without being touched causing other sites to slightly stutter.
Anyways, the problem isn't as frequent anymore. Hopefully, it stops completely.
