Q: Before getting into acting profession you wanted to be a police officer. is that right?
A: Not me but my dad wanted me to become an IPS officer. I joined the course for the same but left it after 2 months as I realized that it is not for me.
Q: You seem rude onscreen but offscreen you are very sweet. is that true?
A: Lot of people say that but since i started playing Shlok and grew this beard, people started calling me khadoos. i am ok with it as it shows that i am playing my character well.
Q: Reading novels is your favorite pastime. is that true? what kind of books do you like to read?
A: That could be a misunderstanding because reading novels is not my hobby. but i like listening to stories when my friends read them for me.
Q: you are so handsome. did anyone ever praise you in filmy style?
A: I don't remember anyone doing that particularly but when i went abroad people there used to praise me in their own way.
Q: Did you act in an ad film for scooty with preity zinta?
A: Yes, that was my first acting job after coming to mumbai.
Q: Girls drool over you. doesn't any of your family members have any objection or jealousy?
A: I am the only son. I don't have any brothers or sisters, so no jealousy. my mom doesn't feel jealous either :)
Q: Your mom is upset about the countless phone calls for you from fan girls. is that right?
A: I do get a lot of phonecalls at home as well as on sets too from fans. I talk to them whenever I get a chance. my mom doesn't have any problem with it.
Q: Whats your idea of a perfect date?
A: To go on a long drive with her.
Q: Do you like acting or directing more?
A: I enjoy my work, whether its acting or directing.
Q: What is love according to you?
A: Love is understanding. You cannot just live on love. You need to be wise as well. If aren't wise, love vanishes.
Q: You don't like shopping. is that true?
A: Yes, I can't tolerate shopping. If I like something when I am out and about, I just pick it up. But I never plan ahead and go shopping. I don't enjoy it at all.
Q: You are born and brought up in mumbai and you were quite famous in your college. is that true?
A: No. I was born in mumbai but was brought up in baroda. i came to mumbai before i started college, so there is no chance of being popular in college. I have never been to college.
Q: People loved your pairing with rubina in choti bahu. if you get a chance to work with her again, what kind of genre would you choose to do?
A: I signed ipkknd-ebp after choti bahu because this is a very different role. I don't have any problem playing negative.I don't have any problem accepting challenges. there were a lot of challenges related to this show, there are challenges now and there will be more in future. But I always try to choose something different from what i have done earlier.
