Hi guys... I am not a regular on this forum, just peeked in today and saw this discussion.
AHem ... I was there with Avinash when this interview was taped 😊. I was kind of amused to see it on screen when it was first aired as some of the questions on screen did not quite match what was asked to him. eg - In person he was asked about harassing phone calls from girls while he is shooting and if anyone is bothered by them. Whereas the question on the screen asked by the anchor was his mom says she gets too many calls from girls so is she bothered by the calls. His answer was Yes... 😲 (which implied what the anchor asked is true) that he gets calls on the sets also and sometimes he answers them and people on the set don't mind the calls. The entire answer did not match the question!! BTW his parents live in Baroda and he does not have a land line at home so no question of his mom having to answer any calls from girls even when she is visiting him.
The last question was which kind of roles he would like to do and the question on the screen was what kind of role he would like to do with Rubina!! The montage in the beginning looked like the segment was about him and Rubina!! Channel was trying to cash in I guess 😆
A lot of these interviews, especially print interviews are quite twisted as the actors' statements are taken out of context. I have seen these interviews taped and many times they take random sound bites from actors and the anchors questions are edited in. The last question was which kind of roles he would like to do and the question on the screen was what kind of role he would like to do with Rubina!!
