Today's episode portrayed just how difficult it is for parents to deal with the breakdown of a wedding/marriage.
Here they have their daughter all prepared to get married, and then she is rejected.

No parent in their right mind would actually want their daughter to get married to a man like Samrat after the way he spoke to them, but such is the world that they were practically begging him to marry Urmi. It broke my heart seeing the pain Urmi's family were in.

They had so many thoughts, her happiness, society would shun their daughter, and who else would marry her? All of these things made them believe that she'd be better off with him, than breaking the relationship. It frustrates me that parents and women have to even think of doing such things.

Society needs to realise that just because one man breaks a relationship, it doesn't mean the woman has to have done something wrong..
Parents, regardless of how difficult it may be for them, need to sometimes accept that things don't go to plan, and it is better for their children to be alone, than being in an unhappy marriage..
And women need to be strong enough to never settle for someone they don't think is righ..

There are men in the world who will happily marry girls like Urmi, regardless of whether they've been rejected by a guy or not. The world does not end on one man. You should never let a guy who disrespects you and your family ruin your life, you shouldn't let any guy ruin your life.

It's frustrating that our society is still like that. I for one would not want my daughter chained to a man like that for the rest of her life. I think they are just looking at the immediate problem of how they will face all of the guests that have already arrived and the talk that will of course ensue from this alliance breaking. What they need to focus on is how they can think of shackling their daughter to a man like that for the rest of her life instead. I cannot believe after Samrat laughed in his face, Urmi's father still tried to apologize to him.

Here they have their daughter all prepared to get married, and then she is rejected. we like in a society which still hold a big taboo about a gals wedding being called off, esp in villages, towns, and some cities as some cities are not giving into this anymore ...

No parent in their right mind would actually want their daughter to get married to a man like Samrat after the way he spoke to them, but such is the world that they were practically begging him to marry Urmi. It broke my heart seeing the pain Urmi's family were in. truth is , no matter how bad the guy is the finger will always raise at the gal and never at the guy,

Society needs to realise that just because one man breaks a relationship, it doesn't mean the woman has to have done something wrong.. True, but kya kare this thinking will not change over time, and some times if gals have proof they will be spared ...

Parents, regardless of how difficult it may be for them, need to sometimes accept that things don't go to plan, and it is better for their children to be alone, than being in an unhappy marriage..True again, a gal will only heal if her family is willing to support and be strong for her.

And women need to be strong enough to never settle for someone they don't think is righ..Word again

You should never let a guy who disrespects you and your family ruin your life, you shouldn't let any guy ruin your life. Yes why not, lke her brother said, she dont have any bad qualities but then again once broken its not easy to have nice one, but then again ha there are good ppl who would understand this and will be open to marry her ...

well, ok , i was engaged once and was about to get married in a 2 weeks, when we realized guy was cheating with another female, i called it off and my mom supported me more than anyone. my sissy was all crying and all, my dad try to make peace, my mom said, u dont know ur daughter , if she knows about this after marriage she will kick him and walk away instead of lying down 😆. and touch wood apart very close relatives like 4-5 ppl none knew about engagement. glad it didnot happen, its all about being strong and having that support andk nowing what we want that makes a big difference

Urmi, i dont see her being total weak, she may cry but then again , she is not strong as trisha and neither weak, she will take time but she will be strong if she has to support her family to deal with her in such crises ...
