Shraddha Kapoor wants to be treated like a star

The success of 'Aashiqui 2' has catapulted three-film old Shraddha Kapoor to fame and now the actress expects to be treated like a star. The 21 year old reportedly made this very clear on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj's Indianised Hamlet, 'Haider' during a recent shoot in Kashmir after discovering that she was the only member of the cast who had not been put up in a suite.

The daughter of Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure, too demanded a suite in the five-star hotel in Srinagar where the unit was staying, after she was booked into a special room.

The story goes that Shraddha was upset that the stars, Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon were given a suite while there was none available for her. Says a source, "The hotel was full at the time. And the production-in-charge tried to explain this to Shraddha but she wasn't appeased."

The Haider team had to then shift her to another five-star hotel, where she was given a suite. But when she turned up for the preparatory workshop next day, the actress was still reportedly sulking over the 'unfair' treatment.

But they could do little about the demands of their leading lady at the time. A couple of days later however when a suite was available, Shraddha was shifted back to the earlier hotel where the rest of the unit was put up. "After this, she was happy," adds the source.

Shraddha's spokesperson denied the news, saying, "We were all staying in the same hotel. Shraddha is the most pampered person on the sets." Vishal Bhardwaj reiterated, "Shraddha is a lovely girl both on and off the sets. And there were no tantrums."
