I am so in love with this Khushi !

Arnav toh khair no need to say i drool over like a puppy but Khushi's characterization is just coming along brilliantly !

To begin with once again Nainital and its descriptions just bowl me away.. i have never been there but reading your descriptions i can picture the surroundings so clearly.

I love it how you keep bringing these little convent touches to this 3 girl gang.

Khushi and Nani are so good together , its always nice to see Khushi respond to the people so accurately , i mean with Ana and Payal she is one of them , with Nani and the other elders she is always so polite and calm to talk with and of course with our hot headed hero she is always ready to bite his head off if given a chance.

When Arnav came along ... i was waiting to read what he is wearing and that whole sexy look you give him and was feeling i gotta tell sandy how could u miss that , then of course u had kept it for later to not only give Khushi an attack but me also !😳

Coming to the whole conversation between Arnav and Khushi , it was absolutely top notch!

Not missing a single beat , I completely adore how Arnav is just going for the kill and Khushi still trying her best to not get carried away.

The green house scene was awesome and the whole stopping in her tracks wala closed door scene made my heart flutter like crazy !

Arnav's change in perception was very well written and left no doubts as to his attraction towards Khushi not only still going strong but also increased in nature. And the way he himself put it jo abhi tak nahi hua ... that ain't gonna happen. His nymph has got into his system as thick as blood.

However what i am a little confused about is ,,, that though Arnav has accepted his longing for Khushi still what is he expecting out of her , i mean i can't get clearly if his stance on a long standing commitment has changed or no!!!😕

And as far as Khushi is concerned , she was as always spontaneous and though she landed up speaking more than required she did cover her tracks with quick thinking and cooking up this imaginary guy !

Nothing like a jealous Arnav ever !!!

The war as old as time itself, that between the mind and the heart.

And this is a war that's raging within Arnav as well as Khushi. Arnav's mind, primed by his unfortunate childhood experiences is holding on to cynicism and bitterness as a shield against love...emotion he distrusts and doesn't set a great deal by and maybe is even afraid of. Apart from his distrust of love, he doesn't seem to have any faith in his own nature or even deem himself capable of inspiring love in or being the source of lasting happiness of another human...

It's sad the amount of damage a failed marriage is capable of, including the aftershocks that resound for decades in the mental universe of it's byproducts..

Khushi's plight is comparatively more straight forward. She just doesn't want to believe the constant signals that her heart is sending her way and expose herself to hurt once more.

Loved how you penned Arnav's mental conflict and how a part of his mind is looking for a respite from years of loneliness...Beautiful 😊

The opening scene was highly effective in conveying the freshness, buoyancy and hope that are an essential part of Khushi's disposition. Problems in her love life don't deter her from being thankful for whatever good, life still has to offer. Her enthusiasm for Christmas was so endearing..

Her thoughts are succinct, honest and untangled...Clearly, here's a lady who doesn't believe in lying to herself and tackles unwelcome thoughts, head -on..!

The attraction between them is explosive and Khushi reminiscing about the intimate details of their making out session..😳.Most likely Mr. Raizada is similiarly employed :D

Your descriptions of Nainital brought it alive in front of my eyes, though I have never been there.

Mamiji...being Mamiji! Well, what can you do! Hope Payal finds a way to effectively deal with her..!!

I love Nani...bas! She is such a loving, graceful lady :)

The mental vision of Arnav running along a mountain road, lost in the thoughts of the 'Nymph', who's made an unexpected yet impactful reentry into his life...was very delightful!

Aha...someone's jealous...! That's a step in the right direction for sure...

I love the smell of Magnolias..! It's so heady and intoxicating, Arnav doesn't stand a chance against it.! Nah...

Their conversation in the green house was scintillating, very enjoyable to read especially with that underlying current of passion crackling between them..

The end result of this conversation was Khushi drawing her armour closer around her and Arnav resolving to destroy it. Very exciting state of affairs..!!

But what does Arnav seek to achieve by doing this is the question, which I'm sure you'll answer in the coming updates..

PS: Don't worry about the pmsing IF😡, Sandy, this chapter was so engrossing that the font size didn't matter at all. In this particular case, size and type don't matter...hehe...

Just in case you didn't catch that - that was me bawling for missing page 1 - AGAIN!! You have a determined bunch of readers, I tell ya (Yes, yes, I know. Stop gloating you guys :P)

Now to the update. Strangely the prominent reaction to this chapter was this burning need to escape into the mountains for a vacation. And I should be thinking about beaches but strangely at this point a beach holds very little fascination. I blame you, Sandhya. Humpphhh :P

Oh btw, did I mention that I love this Khushi - she has the essence of half a girl, half a woman, but all pure heart. Her love for Christmas, her friends, Nani, Akash and even Arnav - it makes for one hell of an interesting mix. Especially when you add in the need for her own self preservation. She is funny and smart and witty and utterly clumsy but you cannot help but root for her when she blatantly lies about having found a guy who is not him!!! Spunk - yes, that is her. No less for Arnav Singh Raizada

And he is 26, fictional, utterly besotted with someone I cannot hope to compete with even if I tried. So stop making him so damn sexy. Deep breath.I am going to focus on what I don't like about him -

Ok well, there is nothing in that category. Yet. But I will find it. Just you wait.

Serious PS: If Khushi acknowledges their attraction, then what is he planning to do. Has he changed his mind about what he has to offer to a girl like Khushi? You don't have to answer, of course, this is just me wondering. A part of me thinks time and distance has helped put things in perspective for him. But the cynical me, the one that is half a decade older than Arnav, wonders if he knows what he wants. Hmmm...

You made my Christmas.🥳

I share the same thoughts about Christmas. Irrespective of the religion, every festival gives us a reason and opportunity to set aside all worries and differences and celebrate, decorate, share joys, exchange gifts and enjoy food.

As always the title was so apt and is perfect for what Arnav and Khushi are going through. It's interesting to see how even after 4 years, the few days they spent together and around each other are still so fresh in their minds. A normal moment such as Nani stringing flowers, takes Khushi back to 4 years. This shows how much they are blended into each other's minds and hearts. It's like those few dreamy moments have become core of their existence.

The confrontation - it was intense and very well written. But I guess it was half the confrontation since Khushi is still running away.

I like the way Arnav thinks and approaches any problem or situation. I think he is somebody who has clarity of thought and can decipher things very well. Though his actions may lack and not reflect the maturity in his thinking. He knows what he wants in his life, professional as well as personal. At a young age he decided to stay away from emotions that caused problems in his parent's marriage and havoc ed the sibling's lives. He decided to be financial independent and take control of his life. And now he is crystal clear that Khushi makes his heart beat faster and her presence brings excitement to his life as well as his surroundings. He also knows that she is shaking the foundation of his principles and making him break all the resolves of control. Right now I think he is trying to sail in two boats. On one hand he wants to stay away from Khushi, protect her and on the other hand can't stay away from her and he is not mincing his words in telling her he is affected by her and wants her. Right now it's his sense of possessiveness, jealousy and fear of losing something precious that is driving all his actions. He still has a long way to come through with his true emotions.

Khushi is struggling to maintain her distance from Arnav emotionally as well as physically. But she is doing a good job of pushing Arnav away and not giving into his intimidation. She seems to be emerging stronger with each face off, protecting her heart and running away. But I wonder with Arnav's strong determination, combined with oh so sexy looks how long she can fight her heart, mind and Arnav himself.

When it comes to heart, the words "Control", "forget" do not exist. If it knew there wouldn't be so many broken hearts in this world.
