They didn't really show him thinking, actively doing something...
They just showed him accept defeat and that's what none liked...
When he sorta accepted defeat after the BB truth came out and Jo comforted him, everyone loved him

because he'd already done all he could, but couldn't tackle the emotional bits for which Jo tried supporting him,.. .but here, not only did he NOT act, he didn't even listen to the sensible decision everyone was giving him be it - atgah, Jo or maulvi...everyone explained yet for no reason, he just seemed to want to take the path of self destruction! It made it even sillier when they showed like he had a plan all along...when in reality he had no plan at all!
That doesn't suit his personality or character...
And we all love a strong heroine, be it when she gives it to MA or Ruqs, be it when she supports him or advises him...but, it shouldn't also look like he's TOTALLY dependant only on them for administrative affairs...it totally tilts the scales then...

thanks for agreeing dear! this is what i got after connecting adham's tasleem issue episodes..he very clearly stated that this is what he wanted from awaam...he was doing his way but awaam had no courage to go against emperor's will..only after jodha suggested proving adham guilty via ruq is when public could not control their already pent up emotions...well, this is what i think makes sense..i hope cvz do make it clear later that jalal had his own plans of doing it which he was not disclosing to anyone...not even jodha!

lashy, lets wait and watch..maybe the cvz will show something related to his plans in the upcoming episodes..because when he says..'jo hum awaam se chahte hain wo humain mil jayega'..to ruq after explaining his plan that jo suggested..it means he wanted the public to rebel against the new law..with jo's suggestion it just happened faster..i cud be wrong but this is what i figured out..akbar was known for his justice, if he was sacrificing his own marriage for that then it could also be possible!
