Has love made Ranbir Kapoor boring?

Last time Ranbir Kapoor was present on Koffee With Karan, he shared the sofa with contemporary actor Imran Khan. The duo had kept both host Karan Johar and audiences entertained with their tongue-in-cheek humour and at-ease stance on the show in Season 3. Sadly, his appearance on Season 4 with cousinKareena Kapoor resulted only in a whimper of a performance.

In 2010, just out of a relationship (with Deepika Padukone) and probably already in a new one with Katrina Kaif, Ranbir flaunted his boyish charm and a playboy image on the show (his USP). Three years later and probably comfortably stable with ladylove Katrina, Ranbir appeared as a more calm, stable and in short a boring rendition of his old self.

Is it love that has this effect on Ranbir or just that three years ago he stepped on the show as a boy and this time climbed down the steps of Koffee With Karan as a man who weighed his each word carefully.

We sure can't blame the star's dull performance on the show for him being in love. Unlike Ranbir, his cousin Kareena was at her entertaining best. She pulled Ranbir's leg and added enoughmasala before the show could turn completely bland. Considering she was in a steady relationship with Saif Ali Khan three years back and now married to him, rules out this theory.

While Salman's episode remained the talking point for long after it was aired, Ranbir andKareena's chit-chat on Koffee With Karan wouldn't get such a thunderous response.
