I understand that NB is a platform for you to showcase your talent. However, please make sure that the dances you choreograph look like dances- and not simply balancing on stilts, moving about in water, dangling from strings or climbing frames or sliding down fake snakes.
Whilst you are all keen to show off your creativity and innovativeness, please be realistic. Any piece of choreography that makes the viewers nervous( that the dancers may fall or injure themselves) takes away from the pleasure of enjoying the dance.
Also, listen to the judges' comments- not just for your creations but also for other dances. Try to gauge what the judges like and do not like.
Give your dancers the choreography That will entertain viewers and impress judges. Be fair to your dancers. Most of the dancers are putting in a lot of effort and seem to trust you to give them good dances. Please don't let them down. Give the dancers the opportunity to stand up to the toughest competitors..
This week the choreography was disappointing in most cases, although the dancers themselves did a great job with what was given to them

I agree, some of the concepts the choreographers come up with have very less dance. I'm not talking about any particular contestant, but 85% of the dances this week were more concept-oriented and less dance-oriented. It was cool to see, but disappointing in terms of how much less dance was involved. The concepts need not be so difficult and dangerous. They can be creative and unique while at the same time utilizing the best dancing skills of the contestants.

Oops! did I say that? I wonder where you got this idea from?
Well the judges seem to agree- they were certainly not blown away by these acts. As Sajid rightly pointed out, it becomes boring to watch some of the dances after about 30 seconds, after the novelty of the idea wears off. Shilpa is shown looking nervous during some of the dances that involve risk.
The choreographers need to get smart in the way they showcase their talent by building in more dance moves than just the stunts.
P.S: For your information, I appreciate and enjoy all forms of dance ( not stunts!)
If the dance 'which we do on marriage, baraat' is done well, then I would enjoy that too!

as much as i agree that there should be more dance...i also feel that this concept-oriented choreography is working in favour of the contestants. most of the contestants are non-dancers. giving them heavy dancing acts would get them kicked out before they had the chance to improve and work on their flexibility/etc. i think the choreographers are just banking on the current dancing abilities and are probably going for the dance heavy acts in the future epis, when the strengths and weaknesses of the participants can be easily managed and masked.
and the sajid comment, seriously? you ACTUALLY thot he was saying that because he wanted more dance? lets be honest, if that had been gurbina instead, he'd be the first one to stand, clap, whistle and scream ELEVEN!. his judgments are value-less at this point because he's CLEARLY biased.

Exactly.Even my family members were saying the same thing once Sajid opened his mouth after the slit/underwater act.He wud have said.."I have never seen any1 perform on stilts/underwater in life.I challenge all the contestants if any1 can do is ever"..this wud hav been d comment if his favs did d same.Honestly i mute the remote when he opens his mouth for my favs. But as terence n shilpa said it was truly a diffrent act.N as far as dancing is concerned, well as the episodes progress, competition will become very tough and at that stage no1 will do such acts coz mostly gud dancers will remain in the contest. So 1st 3-4 weeks r d best time when choreographers can showcase sumthing different.N honestly in 3 minutes time even if u try to perform different dance forms like tango, passo, watever,it will look all the same at the end of the day.So audience will be bored.Thats why choreograpphers have tried to give sum out of box things to entertain the audience.Unfortunately one of the judge is so much obsessed with comedy (merry-go-round) and offcourse his favourite couple, he finds all other jodis act boring.Sick man!

👏👏 EXACTLY. which is one of the million reasons i laughed when he said it got "boring" to aasha and ritvik. i personally love the way the acts are presented, and when the contestants get better, can't wait for the dance-heavy acts to come! and at that point, im willing to bet my money, sajid will start his "it's not creative/entertaining enough" crap for his non-fav jodis.
isnt it interesting how he did the SAME HYPOCRITICAL BULLPOOP in the last season and yet he was called back for this?! last time he was all "there's no entertainment" for every jodi except his fav. now he's all "there's no dance" for every jodi except his fav. he's a supremely biased, hypocritical judge, with absolutely NO value for the actual purpose of the show : creative dancing by non-dancers. i wished there was a way to mute his judgments, his scores and even his presence on the show. just delete anything he says so nobody gets hurt. i honestly felt so bad for omar and bruna, as well as aasha and ritvik...my heart also went out to raju and his wife.
