After that hug,Sakshi felt at peace to see Arjun safe and sound.She felt as if her world will break down.Hot tears fell from her eyes.
Those consoling words from Arjun was constantly ringing in her mind.That mere touch of Arjun gave solace to her heart.

As she was walking past his cabin,her steps came to a halt when she saw Arjun looking at nothing particular.She could feel the pain he is suffering from.For a fraction of a moment,she thought to go inside and take him in a warm,loving and soothing embrace and relieve him of his pain and sorrows.

But..

Alas... She couldn't do,because,Arjun considered her as his colleague,whereas,she loved him dearly.

She kept on looking at him and his face from a distance,which expressed pain and sorrows.

''Hai dilko teri aarzoo,
Par main tujhe na paa saku,
Hai dilko teri aarzoo,
Par main tujhe na paa saki,
Main hoon shabh,tu subha,
Dono jur ke juda,
Main hu labh,tu dua,
Dono jur ke juda,
Madno...
Mashuko...
Dilbaro...
Madno Re...''

She came out of her trance,when she felt Chotu's hand on her shoulders.She wiped the tear that formed on the corner of her eye.Chotu gave Sakshi a side hug.

Chotu and Sakshi moved inside the conference room,where she saw Ayesha happily talking to someone over the phone.Sakshi guessed it that it was Sameer.She was happy for both of them.Even,Chotu has also proposed his 11:30wali,Mita... She was happy for both Ayesha and Chotu,because,both of them have their loved ones in their lives.

It was time for them to leave.Chotu and Ayesha left for their homes.Sakshi had to write a report,so she stayed back.She was stealing glances from her report to have a look of Arjun.

As she finished her writing,she took out two printouts of the report.She attached one in the ETF case file,while she attached the other in the file that will go to the DIG. She took the ETF file and went towards Arjun's cabin.

As she knocked the door,she didnt get a reply.She was confused.She again knocked,but this time also,no reply. So,she opened the door all by herself and came inside and the sight shocked her.

Arjun was sitting in his chair,his eyes was fixed at particularly nothing.Tears trickled down his cheeks.His eyes were red.Only the table lamp was switched on.She thought of not to disturb him,so she kept the file on his table and left his cabin.

Arjun had felt her presence in his cabin,but decided to keep quiet,as he wanted to remain alone for sometime.

His mind wandered back in today's case where he had to solve the case of a psycho killer who killed three friends of a certain popular group.This incident took place in his college,where once,he had studied.As he met the principal,he assured him that he will solve the case.The principal trusted Arjun's potential and capability,not because,he is the best police officer of the Mumbai Police Department,but,he was his student,once upon a time.

As he started his investigations and discovered many more clues,he discovered something unusual.He and Chotu dug out a hidden grave,where he found a coffin empty.Somehow,the intuitions he was having were correct,but,to be more concrete,he himself went inside the coffin and asked Chotu to keep a record of time as to how much,he can stay inside the closed coffin.

Chotu did exactly as he said.After 2 or 3 minutes,Arjun called him in his cell to take him out,as he is suffocating.Chotu,with the help of Sakshi and Ayesha,pulled the coffin out and saw that Arjun was unconscious.They were really scared to see Arjun lying like that,that too unconscious.After lots of efforts,Arjun woke up and saw that his teammates looked at him with utmost care and love and he saw that they had tears in their eyes.

Sakshi was the first one to hug him tightly.She voiced out her concern as tears fell from her eyes.She felt really bad.As she hugged him tightly,for the first time,he felt needed,cared and loved by Sakshi.That followed by a group hug of Chotu and Ayesha.He was really touched by their gesture.

But,as Sakshi hugged him tightly,he felt a shiver run through his spine.He didnt know when his arms went through her consoled her. After all these happenings,the case was solved.

Arjun was sitting in his cabin and thinking about the hug between him and Sakshi.From that hug,he got to know the feelings Sakshi harboured for him.He got to know just by that one hug that she loved him a lot.He knew that he wouldn't be able to gift Sakshi all that happiness and love she deserves,because she doesn't deserve a broken man.

He took out a picture from the nearest drawer and kept it near his heart.His thoughts wandered when he met Roshni,how they became friends,how they fell in love,how they got married and lastly,how she was snatched away ruthlessly from his,thus,making him a barren man.

For this reason,he stays away from Sakshi,because,he thinks that destiny will snatch her away from him if she attaches herself with him.

A tear fell from his eyes and his mind spoke.

''Mujhe maaf kardena,Sakshi.. Main janta hu ki tum mujhse pyaar karti ho... Par,main tumhe apne kareeb aane nahi desakta,kyunki mujhe dar hai ki kismat tumhe mujhse chheen ke lejayegi... Roshni ke baad,mujhe laga ki main kisise pyaar nahi kar paunga,par,aakhir,mujhe tumse pyaar hogaya... Issi pyaar ne mujhe khushi bhi di aur dard bhi... Main nahi chahta ki tum mere hisse ki dard bhi saho... Main nahi chahta ki hum juda hojaye ek hoke bhi,isiliye,tumhe mujhse door rehna hoga... Issi mein tumhari bhalayi hai... I am sorry,Sakshi...''

As his mind spoke this words,tears fell from his eyes...

''Kayi khwab dil tujhko lekar sajaye,
Par khauf yeh kahin par sataye,
Agar dil bhi toote toh phir hoga kya re,
Mujhe raas aati hai khushiyaan kahaan re,
Kyun dil ko dukhana bewajah,
Madno re,
Kyun dil ko dukhana bewajah,
Phir aansu bahana ik dafa,
Phir aansu bahana ik dafa,
Main hu shabh,tu subha,
Dono jur ke juda,
Main hu labh,tu dua,
Dono jur ke juda,
Madno...
Mashuko...
Dilbaro...
Madno re...''

He came out of thoughts,when he felt a warm hand on his shoulders.He turned around and saw it was Sakshi.He quickly wiped his tears and stood up tucking his gun behind his back.

''Abhi tak tum office mein ho? Ghar nahi gayi?''

''Woh... Ek report karna thha... Maine kardia hai... Tumhare signatures chahiye thhe...'' Sakshi said.

''Accha,thik hai... Main yeh file lodge mein jaake dekhlunga aur sign karke khud DIG office pohucha dunga.Chalo,main tumhe drop kardeta hu.''

Sakshi nodded and followed Arjun till the parking lot.Both of them got inside the car and they zoomed off.

As they drove through the almost empty roads of Mumbai,the whole scene was replaying,both in Arjun and Sakshi's mind. Arjun had visuals when he was safely taken out of the coffin by Chotu and Ayesha,while Sakshi had visuals of hugging Arjun tightly. Both of them didnt have the courage to look into each others' eyes and convey their feelings or concern.

Arjun was concentrating on driving,keeping a straight face,looking straight towards the road,while,Sakshi looked outside the window. Silence was prevailing in between them and it spoke a lot today.

After a while,Sakshi looked at Arjun,whose eyes portrayed some kind of different feeling.Though she couldn't name the feeling,but,she understood it.She thought about Arjun's life.She was not amongst those who sympathized with Arjun's life or his condition... She wanted to support him,although,she knows that she wouldnt be able to do it,because,Arjun has built a very strong iron wall that cant be broken,at any cost.

She looked at him carefully,one more time and looked away from him and fixed her gaze outside the window at nothing particular.

''Tu hi to har pal bandha hai,
Lamho ke inn zanjeero mein,
Tu hi toh har pal raha hai,
Khwabo ki har taabeero mein,
Tu hi toh har dum raha hai,
Dhundli ya ujli tasveeron mein,
Teri hi toh hai khushbu mujhme haan,
Madhno re...
Teri hi toh hai khushbu mujhme haan...
Ab tu hi toh har su,har jagah,
Ab tu hi toh har su,har jagah...''

Sakshi was brought out of her thoughts when she heard the tyres of the car come to halt.Sakshi looked around carefully and found herself in Juhu Beach.She looked at Arjun confusingly... Arjun sensing her confusion,answered her question...

''Main har raat ko yahaan aata hu... Roshni ki favorite jagah thhi yeh... Yahaan pe hum dono subah subah aate thhe... Main jogging karta thha aur Roshni uss patthar pe baithke mere lautne ki intezar karti thi... Aaj main tehelna chahta hu,tumhare saath,agar koi problem na ho tumhe?''

Sakshi could feel the pain whenever he uttered Roshni's name,because,Roshni was that part of his Life,which he loved the most and cherished the most. She agreed and went inside the beach area.

The beach area was calm and serene.The sound of the waves were echoing in the whole area.Two or three couples were seen enjoying their happy lives. Arjun and Sakshi walked side by side and after walking some distance,they sat on the rocks.

After some moments of silence,Arjun sighed heavily and said,
''Sakshi,main janchuka hu ki tum mujhse pyaar karti ho aur tum unlogo mein se nahi ho,jo mujhe dekhke ya meri halat ko dekhke sympathise kare... Sakshi,mujhe sympathy nahi,support aur vishwas chahiye jo mere kaam ayenge jab main Sikander ko maarke Roshni ki maut ka badla lunga...''

Sakshi was in a state of shock.She thought, ''Arjun ko kaise pata chala ki main ue pyaar karti hu? Kahi usdin usne meri aur Ayesha ki baat toh nahi sunli?''

Arjun further said, ''Yahi soch rahi ho na,ki,main kaise janta hu ki tum mujhse pyaar karti ho? Aaj pata chala jab tum mujhe case ke dauran hug kiya.Tumhare chehre pe jo khushi dekhi maine mere sahi salamat bahar aane pe uss coffin ke andar se,jo care aur pyaar tumhare aakho mein dekha mere liye,usse yeh saaf zahir hota hai ki tum mujhse pyaar karti ho... Sakshi,main ek toota insaan hu... Tum mere saath agar rahogi,toh,kabhi khush nahi rehpaogi... Dukh ke sivai kuch nahi milega... Isiliye,mujhse door raha karo... Kyunki,agar yeh doori nazdikiyo mein badal gayi,toh,mera yeh dil tumhe khudse jaane nahi dega... Isiliye,please mujhse door raho... Tum surakshit rahogi... Main tumse kabhi pyaar nahi karsakta,Sakshi... Mere liye sirf Roshni ki pyaar ar uski pyaar bhari yaadein kaafi hai zinda rehne keliye... Jo tum mujhe desakti ho,woh hai ek saccha dost aur support aur vishwas... Kya tum meri sacchi dost banke mera saath dogi? Kya tum mujhpe bharosa karogi ki Sikander naam ka criminal hai iss duniya mein? Will you support me in my mission to kill Sikander?''

He forwarded his hand towards Sakshi... Sakshi looked at him with amazement.After some moments,Sakshi kept her hand over his palm and squeezed it tightly,assuring him that,she will always support him through thick and thin and will believe him,always,though she knows she wont ever loved by him.

Arjun faintly smiled at their entwined hands and gave her a side hug... Sakshi hugged him tightly,assuring him that she will support him in his endeavour to avenge Roshni's death,through thick and thin.
