At the end of her usual 'Hail-Shehenshah' dialogues, she concluded it with 'I EVEN agree with your decision of NOT SELECTING Adham for the post of subedaar...BUT you didn't consult me for so many issues lately...' Lord! This woman is impossible!😲

2) TASNEEM-ADHAM

Jodha looked beautiful in that light pink attire. What's not to love when she says 'I'm the Mughal Shehenshah's Begum commanding you...let go of her ...NOW!'😳

i was like this

'Taashvik kaarya' 😆OMG...Adham as it, he's mental and now drunk too...I don't think he understood what she was trying to say! Jodha's dictionary and vocabulary is out of this world!

yeah her hindi is sometime out of the world😆

3) JO-JA

How sweet the manner in which Jalal welcomes his angry Begum

'You appear so angry, Jodha Begum...you've even forgotten to offer me your usual NAMASKAR' he states with a soft smile 'Pray tell me what wrong I've done this time!'

'Not you' she seethes 'Its Adham'

'Yes...but, I've forgiven him many times in the past because he's Badi Ammi's son' [hmmm, here is where Jalal went wrong!]

'Not me! He doesn't have the GUTS to misbehave with the Shehenshah's Begum' Jodha shouts (we seem to be hearing a LOT of this status proclamation recently, Jo😛!) 'But, what's wrong is wrong - whether it's against a Begum or a Daasi...after all, both are women!' [well said]

Finally, the king did become quite grim and infuriated when he got to hear the entire story, though!😊

MA and addham shyea😡 poor javeda... how does jalal gives justice to tasneem .. hm lets wait and watch

Even after Jalal declared to abdicate to uphold his vachan, Jo said that she can never Kshama him as he broke the other vachan (the mysterious one) on the thunderstorm night as she felt betrayed.
But if Jalal can't muaaf Bakshi, as he felt betrayed it was not uchith. Here forgiveness becomes sacred and mandatory.

So naturally, she can forgive Bakshi, but he cant forgive AK and he becomes a part-taker to AK's crimes if he does that.

Not just Jo's hindi dictionary, her uchith anuchith rulebook is also out of the world!😡

Well, frankly speaking I'm not too surprised. It's always been the case with Ekta's heroines🥱 I am yet too see one heroine of her's who follows what she preaches and who's not self-sacrificing and mahaan all the time..Jo fits the latter category though. I guess we'll just have to love Jo this way, not left with much option are we?😆

True...soumya...at least with the rude bits and her ensuing apologies; Jodha did break the 'I'm Mahaan' moulds somewhat...warna, our sandhyas and gopis don't talk back even if they're being caned for someone else's misdeeds!

Wohi if its someone else, they'll become Durga Mas to fight for the other's problems...but, when it comes to their own they become doormats!

I loved Jalal expressions at the end, we knew exactly what he was thinking without speaking a word.

When Adaham khan spoke of love, jalal tilted his head and had this you got to be kidding me expression on his face. He didn't believe that farce any more than anyone else in court did either.

When Adaham offered a huge dowry in return to marry her, he had this oh wait this just got interesting look. I think Jalal knows what a douche his doodh brother is so this offer of marriage just came as a surprise to him and he was take aback at the honor shown by Adaham khan.

When Adaham said his religion permits such relations, that is when Jalal had this damn he got me look on his face. That is the trump card argument. Mughal sultanate is a non secular kingdom run by the thumb of religion. Even Shehenshah can't refute any such arguments citing islamic traditions. He must also know he went on to marry many times using the same clause.

When Adaham khan said he doesn't have children so he wants to remarry and become a father that is when we saw anger streak across Jalal's face. The last two arguments were hitting too much close to home for Jalal liking but it is the last justification that was below the belt. Jalal knew exactly who Adaham was talking about when he mentioned not being a father and using that reason to remarry. I can't believe MA who claims to know Jalal well didn't think the last argument will sink the ship, she must know how sensitive the subject of fatherhood is to Jalal. More than anything Jalal did not remarry so many times to become a father, he did not cast aside his begums in the pursuit of such wants. His marriage were mainly political alliances and to some extent to provide security to the woman that come under his wing. Come on who is MA kidding, she must know that Jalal and everyone else know that Adaham Khan's reputation for being a low life. Her game was to justify Adaham lusts, but by using Jalal as an example to justifiy her scumbag son behaviour she has only insulted Jalal. She made it sound like if Jalal can do it why not Adaham, but what she didn't play upon is that Jalal and Adham forget being in the same league are not even part of the same universe when it comes to moral code. Jalal would see thru such arguments and he would find them as a personal insult on his code of conduct to be compared to his low life namesake brother. Not to mention what if every abusing man come traipsing in Diwaan-e-aam citing oh yeah the shehenshah did it so why can't we argument. Would Jalal allow for such a dangerous precedent to be set here.

Very true, when Jalal loves Jo this way, who are we to fret!

There is more to the show that is worth the watch.

Did you notice his smug yet very subtle slight smile when she announced Adham Khan doesn't have himmat to say a word her, because "Hum to Shahenshaah ki begum hain" 😆 😆

You can see how happy Jalal feels when she makes these"status declarations" as you call them! 😆

Like she is finally accepting who she is readily & infact proudly, and indirectly, accepting him as her husband!! 😆
