Telly actor takes cue from Salman Khan

Before Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka took off on Star One, Eijaz Khan had promised that he would be seen in "revealing outfits". He has kept his word. Known as Salman Khan of the small screen, he is not shy of shedding his shirt at the slightest provocation. "I am comfortable with my body and do not mind flaunting it," declares Eijaz.

The suave actor believes in good grooming and makes sure he keeps his body well-sculpted. "I work a lot on my looks. I even go to the extent of buying my own clothes from Armani to be in sync with my character's image. After all, if you look your character, half the job is done," he says.

Eijaz Khan loves his body

About his own life he says, "I am still very much a Casanova." On competition on best looks and style factor, he quips, "What competition?" Amongst the new lot of actors, he thinks Mohd Iqbal Khan matches his best looks "Hiten Tejwani, Ronit Roy and Rajeev Khandelwal are pretty high on good looks too," he admits.

And what about his favourite actresses on small screen? "Aamna Shariff, Shweta Tiwari, Jennifer Winget and Anita Hasnandani top my list of the good looks on TV," he replies promptly, adding, "For me, looking best factor does not mean just good looks.

Some may not look aesthetically appealing, but through their acting, they become attractive." Quiz him on his rumoured link up with his Kavyanjali co-star, Anita Hasnandani and Eijaz's eyes seem to say, "wait and watch".

Besides acting, Eijaz is also good at dancing. A regular performer, he recently danced to the tunes of Hindi film numbers at one of the TV awards.

On not being nominated for either of his two-primetime soaps (Kavyanjali wound up in August 2006), he says, "TV is a writer's medium. We only package the show and give it a visual content. I feel bad that TV artistes are not considered actors. The day I achieve an actor's tag, I will consider myself successful."

I was gonna say the same

I love reading Eijoo's old articles when they would ask him questions bout our Cookie and he wud say Wait and Watch or say who knows maybe I will get married tomorrow😳😆
