Guys I recently started watching this show and I am catching up with previous episodes. I am in start of oct and I have a question.
I am so confused with Shlok mishandling Astha physically. How am I supposed to like this or what are your reasons to like or accept this? (except the very obvious one - shlok is damn good looking). But every time he mishandles her, which is almost all the time, I wanna either slap him or kick his balls.
I know he is jilted and hurt by his previous relationship, but no one and i mean no one can treat someone like this and still astha claims she is in love?
help me understand this...i am curious and am not trying to demean the sentiments of fans.

hi welcome to the thrilling and suspense filled world of EBP 😛
well firstly, i would recommend to watch each and every episode from day 1 in sequence rather than just odd ones as things will make much more sense.
secondly your question about Shlok mishandling Astha, is possibly because he is in a revenge mode at the moment but at the same time as they say that "unlike poles attract" hence they both are attracted to each other - whereby Astha showed the signs of physical attraction truthfully and Shlok was almost faking it ( as they are showing it now)
As much as Shlok resembles his dad, but the only ray of hope for us fans is that Shlok has high chances of redemption unlike his dad because:
1) he has (unknowingly) chosen a strong-headed and sensible partner rather than a submissive one, who has guts to challenge his wrong doings rather than succumbing to it (like Anjali to NA)
2) he doesnt appear a born rebel or abuser and a self-centred man without any feelings (as he does have very much soft feelings for his sister, brother and his niece and most importantly his God like father)
Apart from that, I can only suggest you to just wait...watch and enjoy this show which has got fantastic cast and amazing performances with a unique story line so far...

I would suggest close your eyes during such scenes 😆 😆
I can totally relate what you feeling! We all went through it while watching it and wanted to slap and kick and punch Shlokie 😡

But it is nice story ahead i would suggest just keep on watching, I am sure you will love it :)

welcome to the forum and drama😊. I think the point is to highlight all the manhandling women bear without even questioning it. I still can't relate with it and its unacceptable but then i am not aastha, its her story, i am just watching the event unfold😃

Hi friend,
To any body who has started watching the show recently, the show will seem weird.

But the protagonist can't be a villain.

Watch carefully, even when Shloke is misbehaving with Aastha,

his expression indicates some type of hidden love and affection.

It is a hate turned love story.

The hate which you see now will dissolve slowly with slow emergence

of real love.

Shloke is actually an obsessed lover.

And very protective also.

very well said by all...
shlok is not normal...not psycho i would say...but not normal...
he is emotionally screwed...a product of NA and anjali...suppressed and suffocated household...with undue and unearned importance...and betrayal in love not only from lover but also from a mother...

lulling every fine feeling for women to sleep...shlok has to confront aastha each time and he feels insecure...to lose control...to get hurt...

the guy is a mess...but he will get a direction right after kohlapur incident...he will come to terms with his inner demon...

he will willingly allow the sun rays to shine in his life once again...not by the will of SUN GOD but by his own will as he will no way let anyone else control his life ever again...

i hope i did not go overboard...get so emotional with shlokie baby

shloks behaviour is a part of his personality
and there are men out there like shlok so it should be show
and i would like aastha to start taunting him and give him sarcastic comments as well
not every man pours honey from his wouth like the other serials
personally i have never seen such a man in my family of general life
the story is very interesting if u follow it
:-)

i am not defending shlok the actors themselves are not doing it. but it needs lots of guts for a popular actor the main lead to play this character. What avinash is doing needs our salute. in real life one should leave but it is a show they are showing the ugly parts of our society which unfortunately exist. As it is a show i want a good ending to it. As for the scenes showing now concentrate on the efforts the actors are putting for the show and enjoy the fabulous acting. I must say avinash has courage to play such a character which he knows beforehand will bring controversy

The whole manhandling is for us to understand how so many girls choose to ignore reality & think that our love can change the person. But no, that is the most stupid thing to think. Someone will only change if they want to. Astha went a step ahead to even ignore the abuse, which only led her into hell.
