I agree there are people like Astha who ignores thing and don't realise until it's too late

I am not a fan or a regular follower... I keep tabs cuz its interesting.
Definitely man-handling yes... But thats the whole point I guess, the 'hero' is quite grey. I've thought of the same thing... no matter what his past was, He CANT treat her like that. There are just No Excuses.
But there is only one reason to all of it ... its supposed to be a dark love story and this season is exceeding the previous one in the 'darkness' aspect. Tho how Aastha fell for Shlok is beyond me as well. But it happens I guess since 'Love is Blind'. XD Or perhaps she fell for him under her illusion that he loves her as well. Ignoring all the painful reality and focusing on the rosy part.

tx you all for your replies. tx you all for putting forward your perspective. i agree its a fab acting by the protagonists and supporting cast as well.
who wouldn't be screwed born into family of ND and Anjali (the whipping and abusing totally creeped me out!).
I agree that when people think they can change somebody after marriage or with their love, don't know what they are walking into. I guess since Astha is portrayed as strong woman, she might ultimately open everyone's eyes to the monster ND is and things will change.

ps: i like the idea of not watching the brutal way shlok handles astha, since it ends up raising my BP and wanna go n punch him...:-).

Totally agree with you too. I just hope young girls watching the show take something important from this. It ain't worth putting yourself through hell for dark love/hate. i feel sick watching the show but couldn't look away. that is the power of darkness i guess...

I agree. And belive me my post had nothing to do with real life actors. Infact I have to say, it was avinashs good looks which was the catalyst for me to watch the show 😉. I think he and others are doing a fab acting.

i am not defending shlok the actors themselves are not doing it. but it needs lots of guts for a popular actor the main lead to play this character. What avinash is doing needs our salute. in real life one should leave but it is a show they are showing the ugly parts of our society which unfortunately exist. As it is a show i want a good ending to it. As for the scenes showing now concentrate on the efforts the actors are putting for the show and enjoy the fabulous acting. I must say avinash has courage to play such a character which he knows beforehand will bring controversy
